The Metric

I have taken five trips to the Los Angeles area in recent years, and The Metric remains my hotel of choice when traveling! The staff, rooms, and parking are always amazing!

Clean and functional hotel, but in a seedy part of town, nothing nearby. Expensive for what it offered. Noisy aircon. Noisy fridge. No frills.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Love the aesthetics of the hotel.

Rooms are basic but well kept, good value.

Well designed clean bedroom, nice common area. Accessibility is well built (wheelchair ramps and visual doorbell). Breakfast is donated from community. Friendly staff. Security infrastructure is superb. The only downside is the hood is a bit dirty and rundown. But the price is great and it’s close to DTLA so it’s a reasonable trade off.

Email and no one ever responded to the email or had to go back to the property and call from there for them to answer.

It was clean and cozy

Really good stay if you’re looking for a place in LA. Clean, easy to get downtown, easy to uber places. Staff friendly and bed really comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The place is immaculate and beautiful. The biggest issue is that through Expedia they don’t tell you need to reserve a parking spot at their hotel and it wasn’t even an option on here. Luckily, the employee there was very helpful and let us know that we could over night park HALF A MILE A WAY. So that did suck, having to leave our car half a mile away and walk back to the hotel in 100° weather. Fortunately, they were accommodating at the front and let us leave our luggage in the lobby so we didn’t have to drag it half a mile in LA’s heat to check in and out. Also, when we got there, our room’s A/C was broken. By the grace of the gods, they were able to put us in another room since they weren’t booked out for the night. Great little place. Clean. Friendly and amazing staff. Coffee and pastries were good. Would stay here again if we’re able to reserve a parking spot as well.

Unfortunately the "breakfast" is just cold baked goods and coffee. Could do with a toaster at least. From asking, it seems like they only have 1 water/ice dispenser in the lobby area, which is sometimes out of ice and only dispenses warm or hot water. Generally would recommend this property assuming you don't mind driving to get breakfast and drinks.

I loved how minimalistic the hotel was. We felt comfortable staying there. The only thing I had an issue with was I didn’t know how to get into the hotel. I found out I needed to ring the buzzer for the garage and was able to get in that way.

Room cleaning not included for stays less than 3 days. Very clean room and secure parking. Good customer service and good cost performance.

Place is CLEAN and felt safe (we are mom & daughter). Room is not very big, but it was fine for two people for one night. TV is good size and they have a small fridge in the room. Bed was very comfy! Gated parking is available for a fee. Hotel is near the Crypto Arena (not walking distance, but short drive). Staff were awesome. No traditional closet, but there was a designated space to hang clothes.

It was such a great experience it was super close to everything and the view was amazing. I definitely would be booking here in the future. They also have gated parking which makes you be more at ease with your vehicle.

The room was clean and well maintained. I love that the parking was gated and included in the room rate. Quick and easy ride to the grand central market or to catch a baseball game. Coffee machine and pastries for breakfast were a huge plus! It was a good experience overall.

I called and texted for an iron and was not provided to me . They never responded
