SureStay Hotel by Best Western Beverly Hills West LA

Oh my goodness. The staff went above and beyond, to make my stay comfortable. Will be back again. 5 stars plus

The location was great for our planned activities.

Food and cleanliness all good. The hotel could use signage on where to park as there is no drive-up parking to check in. Once checked in, parking for a small car was convenient and included.

The parking sucks if you don’t get there early you park on the street two hour parking. Only one handicap parking and the manager was using that grrrrr

Property was run down. Beds very uncomfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Not enough parking. They say first come first served. The lower level parking is too narrow, everyone comes and goes almost denting their car. There will always be one person outside guiding otherwise, it's hard to make it without causing an accident.

The room is small. And there is a dog barking across the street.

The receptionist was very, very accommodating to all my needs five star for me

The only thing is that no coffee is available during the stay

Location fine Advertised queen beds, but none of the rooms have them. They are all full size. Live cockroach in the bathroom. Broken and cracked shower surround. Gnats coming out of open drain in shower. Very noisy rooms. Expired smoke detectors beeping all night from another room - not replaced for 2 days despite letting them know about them. Facilities seriously dilapidated and need lots of work.

They said they had a complete breakfast. All they had was cereal, fruit and waffles no eggs, no sausage no hashbrowns. That’s the only reason why I’ve booked this hotel because they had a complete breakfast. I was so disappointed. I wanted to cancel my second day, but I decided differently and stayed, but I did not eat no breakfast.

The room had a strong smell. Also the sink was leaking water onto the carpet. Will not stay there next time

The photos of the property looked exactly like the property. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was an excellent price for the area.

This place has 2 things going for it, off street parking and convenience to where I needed to be. I booked it during the World Cup and it was all that was left at the time. It's reasonably clean and maintained, but barely so. I was traveling alone and didn't need to impress anyone, fortunately.

The Staff and location were excellent, the courtyard was so charming. I loved how there were potted plants beautifully displayed in the courtyard and all around the property. My only issue is the finishes around the hotel, like the baseboards and older trim not fitting well and while it was very clean, it's hard to keep old cheap materials looking and feeling nice. The hotel lobby was not very inviting, finishes were in disrepair. Our room and the breakfast room were pretty stuffy even though the weather was sublime while we were there. I really want this place to have a 5 star review because some details were so great, but they could put a bit more effort into finishes and the air conditioning and it would be even better. I appreciate the price obviously and it is reflected in this review. All this to say, we will likely choose to stay there again.
