Additionally, the door itself hardly blocks any sound from the hallway, and I was placed right next to the lobby, by the elevator and stairs. I heard so many people enter & loudly speak to one another at 2-4am, and I slept for 2 hours that night. Another thing, parking for 2 days was over $100, and I had no warning until I got up to the front desk that this would be the cost. This hotel wants to squeeze every last bit of cash from you while offering very little in return. On top of the parking, there is a fee simply for being a guest (~$3, but still). I paid for a "breakfast voucher," which is a worthless piece of paper that represents $35 for their breakfast "bistro" downstairs. There is no point to buying. Thai voucher, because if you pay less for breakfast, your money disappears into their wallets, and you get nothing in return. They also still charge you taxes for what you get, so the voucher is just a cheap cash grab, much like the rest of this place. Only go here if you like throwing away your money for very little in return.

Convenient location for going to Greek Theater, only 1 night stay but would definitely stay again.

Pool was nice and well maintained. Inner yard with fountain and seatings was nice too. Room was decent, with few ants crawling in the bathroom.

Close to the metro we had a recently renovated room staff were fab Could do with a coffee machine in the room

I had a good stay at the Hollywood Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt safe and as far as area, it was in a pretty okay spot. You can’t really do anything without having to get an Uber somewhere and anything to do is at least 15 minutes away, which if you’re not renting a car can add up an Uber. However, given the price of the hotel, it wasn’t the worst deal, luckily we had a friend nearby that could drive us a few of the further places. The hotel is definitely a little older.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfasts offered in Route 66 Bistro were great. The location with respect to CHLA was a 8 minute, which was great. The bathtub in the bathroom was elevated about 6 inches maybe more, which made getting in and out slightly problematic. There were grab bars to hold on to. The room was dated require some maintenance.

The Hollywood Hotel was a wonderful stay and the perfect location if you’re attending a concert at the Greek Theatre! The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the pool was beautiful, relaxing, and enjoyable. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice pool and garden area. The beds were comfortable. Gated parking with easy access. However, the photos definitely make it look nicer than it is. The patios are not private and have no seating. The whole place has kind of a run down, creepy vibe. The Bistro isn’t worth the money. Would not stay there again.

Electric didn’t work in rooms. Several outlets weren’t working. Tv and channel guide was a nightmare. I was on the top floor and I could hear squirrels or whatever running in the upper crawl space. The location was in a sketchy part of town and lacked security. I’d avoid it.

But, it’s convenient and it was a secure facility. It’s great that the B Line Metro Line is a couple blocks away from the Hotel. It has a respectable pool area. The room I had was ok. It had a fridge and microwave, which was nice. The rooms could probably be renovated in the future. But, with that said. It was a convenient option for me. I would stay again, if I had the same situation. 4 stars out of 5, would be my rating

Pool was nice. Close to metro but area was a bit dirty but no one bothered us. Pretty and clean building and comfortable beds. Front desk staff was very helpful in giving metro directions. Parking was expensive.

Makes it necessary to login to Expedia only to discover that Hollywood Hotel was NOT trying to contact me ~ it was Expedia trying to ploy more sales out of me. Expedia is very unethical!

Location and gated parking Ants in my bathroom, AC and fridge run very loud, body wash dispenser in shower leaked and I slipped and almost fell when I got in the shower, towels are like sandpaper, no toilet paper holder, didn't restock toiletries
