St Pancras Inn

Location near St. Pancras Station. Room clean. Very small room. General Hotel condition outside room not too clean. Stains on carpet. Marks on walls etc.

Property is in a great location, close to King’s Cross and St Pancras train stations, great for where I needed to be. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival. There is no lift which isn’t a problem for me, I am good with stairs but the stairs are very narrow if you need to carry heavy luggage up and down. The room was a compact first floor double room and linen very clean and fresh. There was a small clothes hanger on the wall with two clothes hangers enough for me travelling light. Complimentary bottled water was provided. The bed was comfortable,so overall a comfortable one night stay. As a double room it was very small and basic the bed was the whole width of the room and against the far wall not a problem for single travellers but two sharing would need to climb over each to get out of bed. No storage space for luggage or clothes for longer trips No tea/ coffee making facilities are provided so the price was very high for a basic room only stay. And the refundable but additional holding deposit payment of £25 was quite unexpected.

Location was excellent for accessing St.Pancras station. Staff are very attentive. The basement rooms have no windows but that's known upfront and OK. Narrow steep stairs to the basement could be an issue for some people if they have large luggage.

Location excellent, just a short walk from kings cross/st pancreas int, plenty of food outlets and Tesco express literally across the road. Staff on check in very pleasant. We booked the compact double room and that's exactly what it was - tiny, you could not swing a cat! The exceptionally small double bed was pressed against the window/wall with a very narrow path to the bed, with a view that left much to be desired. We were situated on the ground floor (G4) beside reception and the noise was ridiculous - we heard every check in, people returning in the evening, and a lovely Australian guest asking for breakfast and how to pay etc at 8am in the morning - while she had zero consideration for other guests the member of staff did not either as we heard the entire conversation through the paper thin walls. The earplugs were a nice touch but quite frankly were completely useless. When we opened the window the particles of dust floating in the room was surprising as the room looked visibility clean. My partners wallet slipped down the side of the bed and when we moved it to get the wallet - the dust was well and truly explained - under the bed was absolutely filthy, evidently the room is that small it's impossible for the cleaners to physically clean the months of dirt from under the bed. Fair enough we booked the compact room - but this is an over priced glorified storage cupboard. Thankfully we only stayed for one night.

Close to the station, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was compact, but had everything we needed for our short stay. Air conditioning was great as it was so hot outside. Shower was lovely! Nothing. All was as it should have been and we were impressed.
