There is a wonderful sense of style and nostalgia in the decor.

The room was sizable by London standards . AC was adequate. Furniture was wore & not in a cool old stuff kinda way.. cheaply made compared to the overall esthetic. Drawers fell right out of the cabinet. Limited outlets .for price point definitely not plush .. other stays in London were more pleasing. Won’t stay again.

The neighborhood is great, the Underground is right next door, the hotel is very beautiful with traditional English charm, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very pleasant. The wait at breakfast is very long… There is no one around if you need anything, so you have to wait. I think the waiter is on his own handling both room service and the downstairs dining room. The bread is not very good, but otherwise the rest is fine. You should leave carafes of coffee and hot water/tea on the tables instead of empty decorative ones, so guests can help themselves. With at least some fresh bread and pastries available, it would make the whole breakfast service much smoother.

Location Rooms pretty small almost impossible to open the luggage inside the room.

You very much like the fact that we had a couch in our room. That was pretty wonderful. However, I was traveling with a friend and we asked at least twice for two separate beds and got to our room and there was one king size bed and it had to be taken apart and made into two twins that were only a couple of inches apart. That was too close. There were two or three days that our room was not cleaned by the time we got back. Sometimes we were gone for more than 12 hours in the room was not cleaned, but the staff was very very accommodating! They got us everything we needed like new towels, and coffee pods, etc.

The location is perfect to escape the noisy London, so nice and quiet place to rest after rooming around, the decoration and the style of the interior design is so pretty and nice, gives a cozy vibes

The room was extraordinarily beautiful, although it was odd that it was two levels. The staff was really nice. The plumbing and the lighting were a bit mystifying.

The room was beautiful and large. Our welcome was warm and included a glass of bubbly. Staff were very attentive, housekeeping was excellent, and special spots like the parlor and terrace were lovely. Nothing - we loved it all.

Extremely small lift (2 ppl max) that did not service our floor (room 404). We were physically able to walk the stairs every day, but this could certainly be problematic for persons with mobility issues. We did have to carry luggage down multiple flights of stairs upon check out. 2. “Breakfast included” is for continental breakfast only. Bread basket, fruit bowl, yogurt, cereal, coffee or tea. No protein included. We paid 9 pounds each for a portion of eggs (poor value for our money). 3. We traveled with friends and we both booked deluxe rooms. My friend was put in room 101 which was advertised in the photos. She had a large soaking tub with plush linen and large room. We booked the same exact room and received the polar opposite. Our room (404) was much smaller, no large soaking tub (as pictured), no plush linens, and overall underwhelming. My friend was happy with her deluxe room but I was disappointed with mine as it didn’t appear at all like the pictures. 3. The fitness center advertised is off site.

The location was excellent The staff is lovely and sees to your every need It is wise to ask about the stairs in your room. Some have the bedroom below a flight of stairs so not super easy to maneuver. It is an old house though so some quirkiness is to be expected.

Location - esthetics Not value for money. Small bed. No facilities - no tea and coffee in the room.

Absolutely loved the decor (hotel & room) and location. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Bed was comfy. We upgraded to suite but even prior room was spacious for price by London standards which tend to be small & pricey. Loved the coffeemaker & know the hotel is Italian-owned but suggest a small pot in room to make hot water for tea rather than having to get from lobby (very minor inconvenience).

San Domenico House is a charming and luxurious hotel. A real gem set in the heart of Chelsea. The Staff stand out for professional approach, balancing discreetness and exquisite courtesy. A thousand thanks to these distinguished and efficient gentlemen. The breakfast is very good and the waiters are really kind and attentive. Thanks to them too for the flawless service. Rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and superbly decorated. I look forward to my next stay and really recommend San Domenico House to everyone is looking for some beautiful days in London. Everything perfect. I loved my stay
