Lords Hotel

The room was bare. It had no comforts at all. We had to climb 4 flights of very narrow dangerous victorian style stairs with all our luggage. We were in the annex building I am not sure if the main building is better equipped. The shower was terrible. Not only was the shower head broken so it wouldn't stay up there was zero water pressure it. The room was clean but it was outdated and dingy. As is customary in the UK there was no AC but the fan that was provided barely blew any air.

It was near by the underground which facilitated my transportation The room was very very small, with no enough ventilation, just a small fan circulating hot air

Very good location close to the Bayswater tube and reasonably close to Paddington train station, central and quiet area, The hot water and shower pressure were very good. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed and toilet paper was replenished. The staff was friendly. I highly appreciated the breakfast included, the water filter from the lobby and the luggage room with the coffee machine and tea made available to guests. We were lucky enough to get a room on the ground floor in the main building with the reception, luggage room and breakfast :) Unfortunately for those staying on the upper floors there is no elevator. - air conditioning in the summer would be desirable - the bed is a bit small for a double bed and not that comfortable

What can I say, the bed was comfy. The room was good. And the facilities were excellent. That the room was dirty, especially in the drawers.

Breakfast too little as would not have to pay for coffee or tea.

Room was comfortable and clean, bathroom good, space was enough for me. Breakfast good and well organised. Location very convenient, close to subway station 5 minutes walk. Will visit again. I don't have complaints.

Situated in a lovely residential area of beautiful buildings, 10 minutes on foot to both Portobello Street Market & Hyde Park. Very helpful & friendly staff especially at reception., and though my single room was really small, there was a nice lounge with a Barrista-style coffee machine with free access, and a water dispenser in the hall. The bed was too hard for my liking, and the shower was modern & stylish, but very peculiar: good pressure at nearly scalding temperatures, but below that, going down rapidly in pressure, and you could only get a little dribble of cold water? I have a pain condition which gets numbed if I finish my shower on cold, so this wasn't ideal- other guests might not have a problem with this, though.

I had a pleasant short stay at this hostel. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Breakfast was good and satisfying, and the location is nice and very accessible, which made getting around easy. We were given a room on the top floor, which was fine since we had small luggage, but it could be inconvenient for guests with bigger bags. It would have been great to have a kettle or water heater in the room so we could make coffee or tea, as going down to the lobby just to get hot water wasn’t very convenient.

since I was only in the room to sleep and shower the room was more than enough for one person since it only had limited storage and a single bed and the location was perfect, I didn't get the chance to have breakfast because I went out most of the days but the facilities seemed lovely. the staff was very friendly and accommodated all of my needs. the luggage storage was good and even if you don't pay for the locked room like myself and leave it in the lobby there won't be any problems concerning security. the room was a little colder than I expected and the water pressure was very low, maybe an additional hand towel would have been appreciated, apart from that there is nothing to add.

Too small room

The breakfast. The instant coffee was vile. The tables were so small we couldn't fit our breakfast on it. Only went once. Never used the breakfast room again. Went to the bakery round the corner for croissants and latte. My granddaughter had a bacon sandwich. No lift. Had to drag the case up to 2nd floor. I was exhausted off travelling and could've cried. Not enough pillows for the bed. Only 2 , which gave us one each. I sleep with 2.

Clean in quiet stay in a suitable location in one of the most expensive cities (London)

The location couldn’t be better — quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. The room was cosy, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered good value, with the option to add more choices for a small extra cost. The stairs are quite narrow since it’s an old building, so carrying large suitcases could be a bit tricky. However, we managed fine and could leave our son’s buggy downstairs. It wasn’t a surprise since I had seen previous comments

For those who can't do stairs, there's no lift (75 steps up to the 4th floor) Breakfast rooms are crowded and a bit loud.

Overall, the apartment was fine, but unfortunately the shower was not working upon arrival. The staff refused to change
