Once we found the hotel, it was very convenient to all the sights we wanted to see. The room worked for us with four adults. An added aircon unit kept the sixth floor room cool during a heatwave. I would have liked better communication that there is a second hotel with the same name. As tired travelers we wasted two hours going to the wrong location. We weren’t offered any early check in options. The aircon unit had a big hose that went out the window which allowed hot air and rain to come in.

The sink in the washroom was small and positioned awkwardly, making it hard to wash your face. And the washrooms itself very small. The shower head had a hole so the water was not coming out properly. And lastly and most importantly the air was very dry and not much circulation.

Location was excellent for Hyde park and the city . The receptionist fella was really helpful and advised us well on tube stations etc . Also managed to pick up an open top bus tour within a short walk from the hotel . It was good value for money - it served us well . Not sure if they did a breakfast or not but some nice places close by anyway so no problem

The property was well kept. However, our room TV was broken. There was no ice machine working in the rooms were tiny. The shower however was excellent shower pressure. Small rooms, tiny bathroom

Hotel's location its not too bad - Near to Hyde Park & a few streets away from train stations & cafes/restaurants. One of the receptionists (Vyom) was very nice & helpful, but the others were generally very bland. For a quadruple room, the size was quite small, with not much space between beds. Making matters more uncomfortable, was the fact the flooring was on a tilt - unsettling at times. The bathroom & shower were very small & the shower-head did not help. The small size of the basin also made it difficult to fill the kettle. The TV in the room was on top of a smallish tall cupboard in one corner & the TV's back stand legs had been shortened so the TV just fit at an angle onto the cupboard top - this however caused the TV to also be on a lean backwards. It was a bit hard to watch & also use the remote. Complained about the TV after arrival, however, to no avail. The lift is very small & using the stairs is like working out a maze. Apparently there is also no desktop computer a guest can use either.

Comfortable stay with clean rooms and great hospitality. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location is excellent, with 3–4 underground stations just a 7–8 minute walk away. There are also many good restaurants and stores nearby, and the area feels very peaceful. Drinking water should be made more easily accessible for guests.

Not value for money

The staff was very friendly and they had 24 hour front desk. The outside of the hotel was very cute and the neighborhood was great. They held onto our luggage when we checked out early but still wanted to explore the city a bit more before catching our train. The room seemed semi-clean but the sheets/ blankets seemed very outdated that it gave the room a motel look. Also they have a sign in the bathroom to reuse your towels but the towels were very rough to begin with and small. I feel like they just didn't want to provide you with more towels. It was very dusty in the room as well. It was an okay stay but probably wouldn't stay here again.

The location, and price The room was in the Basement, which they called the "1st" floor" and was right next to the dining hall, and also facing the street. So I was woken up every morning at 6am to the clanging of the kitchen staff making what was an absolutely horrible breakfast, as everything was cheap, low quality, and could've been purchased from Walmart. DO NOT opt for the $17 breakfast option. The beds were far too stiff for my liking, and the pillows were so thin, my neck and back were screwed up for the whole trip during and after my stay. The carpets were sticky and gross and I bet had never been shampooed, and because the room was also facing the street, was also woken up at night by road noise and loud drunk people.

The shower is a little bit small. Other than that. The hotel was great.

Air didn’t work and windows didn’t open. But very nice and did their best.

The bathroom was very small, it was really hard to take shower. The towels that were changed and were given to us every day were dirty most of the time, we found hair sometimes, and they looked very used and not cleaned properly.

The heating in bathroom of 302 was very powerful, but I advise to repair its regulation, because it was not possible to switch it off. Minifridge was nearly not cooling, but the service employee found it ok.

Location is good. Staff are helpful and professional Small rooms, i had ants in my bathroom, my room was on the lower floor two meters away from the restaurants, the noise and music woke me up every morning at 7 am. After i complained to the staff they moved me to another room in a higher floor. The room was very hot with a portable ac that didn’t do the job

Location is perfect for a solo traveller. Nazim at the reception desk was very helpful. Housekeeping didn't refresh the shampoos etc any day. I had to ask for it.

Very friendly staff. Quad room was great -kids were in actual beds not soda beds or camp beds. Room was clean. Plenty of tea and coffee, plenty of toiletries. Great location:) Shower was so hot the kids couldn’t get in (even after running the water for 5mins). My husband & I struggled to get under the shower, had to stand to one side & splash water over ourselves. Breakfast was disappointing. English breakfast was cold, yoghurt was warm.

Duke Of Leinster Hotel is a fantastic choice for those visiting London for a short period. The hotel is located in a lovely area, close to many attractions and public transport. The rooms are not large, but they have modern amenities that make the stay comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with recommendations or requests. The breakfast is varied and delicious, perfect for starting the day. Overall, Duke Of Leinster Hotel provides an excellent experience and a great base for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in London! The rooms are not that big.
