I’ve stayed at The Brunel before. The location is good, the rooms are not too small, the breakfast has everything I would choose to eat

The location was very good, close to Paddington station, only a ten minutes or so from the bus to the Luton airport. Convenient if you have a lot of things to carry. The breakfast was good, not the biggest selection but food was tasty. The dining room is kind of small though, we saw some people waiting in line to be seated, though we personally never needed to wait. The bed was comfortable, it was very clean everywhere and the staff were also very nice, polite and helpful. There is not a lot of storage space in the room unless you want to keep things in your suitcase, then you can slide the suitcase under the bed since the bed was very high up. The room when we arrived was incredibly hot and the window could barely open, there was no fan or ac in the room either. We asked for a fan in the reception and got it but it was very old and barely blew any wind. We managed to prop the window up more and ventilated the room a bit at night but it was horrible to stay inside until then. The fridge in the room was really tiny and it didn't keep anything cool. The bathroom was very small, hard to get in and out of the shower. The TV in the room was big but unfortunately not smart, so you are stuck watching regular channels.

Nothing I would not recommend this hotel. Our stay at Brunel Hotel was very disappointing. We stayed for 7 days, and despite reporting a cockroach problem to the staff, the issue was never properly resolved. There were still cockroaches in the room until the day we checked out. The room had no air conditioning, which made it extremely uncomfortable, especially with five people staying in one room. The television did not work at all, and the shower had very poor water pressure. Elevator stuck everyday!! Overall, the facilities were outdated, maintenance was poor, and the experience was far below what we expected. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had in London.

Close to Paddington station. Very noisy late at night. Close to a busy urban street. Hotel should not promise something they are not willing to provide. We asked for a room with a view. They answered "We're happy to let you know that the property has confirmed they can arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request." They gave us a basement room with a view of a wall just outside the window. Now, they will probably make some excuse about how they were full, and this was the only room left. But an excuse is a poor substitute for a meaningless offer to provide a room with a view. ALSO, we have noticed all of our booking.com lodgings in the last two years were the least desirable rooms at the hotel. This is probably the last time we will use booking.com.

Convenient to Paddington Station. A decent breakfast. An accommodating staff. Room is small. Luggage fit under the bed.

Cleanliness ; location ; breakfast Really small rooms , The reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful.

Our room had a horrible odor and was extremely small. The room for Breakfast was also small and we felt very rushed as there was a line of people waiting to eat.

This place is very good; compared to what you usually get for this price in London, this was quite a surprise. Very clean and new… friendly staff and everything was basic but good. The rooms are quite small, but again for this price it’s an exceptional value for money in London.

Great breakfast, clean room, excellent service. Location is great for roaming the city using transit. It was small. For me by myself, that was totally fine, but I would warn people to be very aware that it's small. I would not recommend families stay here. The shower was too small for me. I'm quite a tall person, so mileage may vary, but showering was difficult for me. That being said, I was glad to have a private bathroom for myself in such an inexpensive room.
