Period features clean very quiet Asked staff if they could do a little something for my girlfriends birthday and wedding proposal, they did absolutely nothing

It was absolutely gorgeous. The building and decor were so beautiful. There were restaurants and shops close by. The people couldn’t have been friendlier. I cannot say anything negative about the stay or the property.

An oasis of calm, a stones throw from Spitalfields market and a few mins walk from Liverpool st. and Shoreditch. the decor is lovely, rooms well appointed, staff excellent, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms. The mattress could have been a little more softer, thicker topper and the pillows could have been plumper (i am nit picking here as we had a wonderful nights sleep)

Beautifully restored Georgian Hugenot silk weavers’ house on the famous Folgate Street. Filled with character and charm at every turn. Perfect room service and food. Can’t fault anything.

For those that want an alternative to luxury big hotel this is it. Location fantastic ambiance fantastic it’s a gem and total relaxation guaranteed Nothing and I mean nothing for me but our room didn’t have a mirror by the dressing table and a note to specify that coffee is a call to reception - water said for coffee and no coffee in room.

The location is great for discovering London. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, everything and more we could have wanted.
