Budget accommodation in London. Quiet location, clean and comfortable. In the current economic climate and crazy price of anything and everything in London I would definitely recommend City Inn Express Hotel if you just need somewhere to rest your head for a night or three and neither need nor want to pay for a load of extras that you know you won't use anyway. Friendly and helpful staff too, always a nice bonus. I'm a big guy (6'3") so the ensuite was a bit akward, but not impossible. However, importantly, I have had the same issue with many much more expensive places, including provincial areas, and appreciate that the 'every square foot costs money' issue is at it's worst in London. This would not deter me from staying here again.

Location and price We arrived early to go to the boxing match and tried to check in early.the rooms were ready and we just wanted to leave our bags but was told it was £10 per hour per room We didn't want to leave the bags at reception but not being able to drop them in room is stupid when the room is ready Just a bit of customer service or common sense was needed Shame

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room and communal areas were clean. Parking was advertised but in fact there were no specific parking spaces, we parked up against a wall by the bins. The shower was awful, shower head slightly broken and pressure very low. They advertised tea and coffee making facilities but actually this was communal and in reception. We were on the 3rd floor. There was a drain smell.in the bathroom.

Extremley Friendly and pleasant staff that go above and beyond. Great location for local attractions, trains, restaurants, parks, buses etc. Comfortable room. Would stay again and recommend to friends. It is basic, you get what you pay for, but adequate and comfortable for short stays. Would have liked a bit more shower water pressure but it was fine.

Convenient location, parking, friendly staff. Rooms tired but ok for the price. As I was working nearby, very convenient!

It was convenient firework. Very basic, but clean, tidy and functional. No shower gel. Very dodgy-feeling location

Nothing Had to pay for my cousin to come to the room just to help with luggage but had to pay £20 extra, had to contact the staff every time we wanted to leave and enter the property

Staff is very friendly, receptionist waited for us until almost 2am to check-in as we had just arrived in England. We appreciated it very much ? No shampoo or bodywash provided besides a small piece of soap, but thankfully we had our own.
