Location was great. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us when the first room they put us in was really bad. Room was downstairs with bars on the windows and lots of noise from the street at nightime. Staff changed our room the next day and the stay was much more comfortable Rooms are very small but that is London.

The staff were helpful , Hotel very clean and a good breakfast. Nothing

The room was very small. The bathroom was also small, very old, and uncomfortable. The elevator was small as well and operated slowly, with frequent malfunctions. The breakfast was not particularly tasty. Overall, the hotel looked messy and poorly maintained. At night, football screenings were organized in the hotel courtyard, which were extremely noisy. Throughout the night, loud television sounds and people shouting could be heard, making it difficult to rest.

Location and staff The room is very small, and bathroom space is cramped. I opened my window to get some fresh air, and the club next door was noisy....fresh air, poor sleep!

The location was good. The staff were pleasant especially the receptionist who was very helpful. On the site it does say that some rooms are being refurbished. Mine certainly wasn't. The receptionist very kindly gave me an upgrade to a double room. It was better but very basic and noisy (on Cromwell Road - no double glazing). The staff were very pleasant, especially the receptionist but that doesn't make up for the discomfort!

Excellent location, for what we wanted, somewhere comfortable to spend the night close to the Royal Albert Hall. This fit the bill perfectly. The room was on the small side, but clean and cosey, with a Kettle, tea, coffee and bottled still water provided. The bed was comfortable. Good shower with plenty of hot water. 5 minutes from Earls Court Underground, lots of take aways, supermarkets and restaurants close by. Overall a pleasant surprise, especially given some of the recent reviews I read online. The storage in the room was very limited. This wasn't an issue for our overnight stay, but might be for people staying for longer. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so traffic noise was a bit of an issue.

Location The constant sound of construction outside and the nightclub next door that blasted music all night.

Possibility for breakfast Good location Friendly staff Rooms need some TLC, bathroom was minimal so a tall person could struggle to have a nice shower or use the WC. Bed was of poor quality (I could even feel the springs on the side. I went out in the morning and came back at 13:00 and the room was still unclean, we stay for a couple of hours and we asked in the afternoon for a quick clean and towels replacement but the cleaning people does not work in the late afternoon/evening. The only fan did not work properly (no rotation) so it was difficult to sleep during the night. TV was minimal. WiFi was crashing sometimes

Good location. Hotel was on the District & Circle line. Near shops. Property is OK if not going to be staying in room much. Room was very basic and quite cold. No wardrobe. Drafty window. Small electric radiator was provided, not great, & bed duvet was thin. Bathroom needed modernising, lots of cracks and missing grout in tiles. Building going on in floor above (drilling, noise). House keeping ignored the ‘do not disturb’ sign twice..

It’s my favourite ? staff are friendly x Rooms are small bathroom To small x they should include breakfast for Everyone !!! And shouldn’t charge to Leave baggage if you want to leave it

This hotel completely ruined our stay in London. For THREE nights straight we could not sleep because there is a nightclub right under the windows. It was supposed to be “closed,” yet the music, shouting, and crowd noise went on until 5 a.m. every night. It felt like we were sleeping INSIDE the club. The hotel knew about this problem and still put us in this room. Nothing was done, no solution was offered, and we were left exhausted and miserable the entire trip. This place should not be renting out rooms with this level of noise — it's misleading and unacceptable. If you want to sleep at night, do not stay here.

I liked the room and the cleanliness. The room was quite small but okay since I was alone

The photos they put online does not match the real rooms at all. And when I asked about this, the receptionist told me that they only have one room that matches the photos. And they said they’re going to do nothing about it and if I want I can report them. We got the twin room. Sheets were dirty, under the bed there was bottles, food waste. Bathroom had mole on the walls.

Good choice for short stay in the heart of London

Breakfast was fairly good and the entrance foyer, with its characterful furniture, old books and interesting lamps and mirrors etc, was the best feature of our stay. Twinings tea bags and biscuits in the room was a nice touch too. The room was far too small for 3 adults. When one books a room, one expects at least one chair and bedside tables and somewhere to put a wash bag etc in the bathroom. This room had no such furniture at all - only a double and a single bed, with on tiny table completely taken up by the kettles, mugs and tea/coffee supplies. There was next to no room to walk round the end of the double bed, made more awkward by TV and heater on the wall. It all felt unnecessarily cramped and bland (nothing on the plain white walls except a basic rail and a handful of hangers) and we were glad we only had to put up with it for one night. Furthermore, there was absolutely no security when we returned after midnight. The front door was open for anybody to walk in, no one behind the reception desk or anywhere else in/near the building on the ground floor, which surprised us as we had been told that we would need the room key card to get into the hotel later in the evening.

It was perfectly located to where I needed to be for the week. There is a club or lounge next door that starts having music and loud groups at 9pm and goes until 4a every night. It was so loud that I could not get to sleep until after they closed the lounge/club.
-
The room did not look like the picture. It was cramped, hot and noisy outside our room (in the basement) at all hours of the late night/early morning. The cleaning staff were throwing glass recycling in a bin or down a shoot that woke us up a few times.

It was a dirty, tiny room, and very noisy at night
-
Literally the only good thing about this hotel is the location. 1. Dirty carpet with stains 2. The bedroom didn’t have a supporting table 3. Clogged shower and lavatory 4. The shower pressure was horrible, there was barely water coming out 5. It didn’t have a place/enough space for the towels 6. It didn’t have a place for toiletries 7. The lamps in the room worked on the first night and didn’t work on the second night 8. It was noisy 9. The hotel generally was very old and degraded 10. Dirty carpets on the hallways 11. There was mold in the walls/ceiling in the hallways Long story short, the hotel posted photos that are not accurate and the hotel was absolutely horrible. We stayed 2 nights and we would NEVER come back again. The only reason I gave 2 stars out of 10 is because the location is great and the staff was nice, otherwise it would have been a zero.

The location Tiny room, very poor quality furniture, and extremely overpriced. Dirty carpets.
