The Long Room Hotel and Bar

A hotel which is a bar with rooms upstairs. Basic clean rooms, but a great location in the heart of London with a place to park your car. Also the Underground is only a 5 minutes walk so a great place to stay a few nights and explore London by foot or underground. Very good value for your money! We didn't have air conditioning and when we stayed it was hot (30 degrees Celcius outside)

There was no one to talk to, we were unable to get in touch with the landlord. There were only bartenders from the bar below the hotel who spoke to us very rudely. We arrived in very hot weather and all the windows were closed, with no air conditioning of course and no fan. It was hot and stuffy. Only after two days did we see that there were open windows in other rooms, and then after we left, someone came and opened the windows in the room, which relieved the suffocation a little. There was a kettle in the room as listed but only 2 bags of coffee for 3 nights. We didn't know that there was a kettle but we had to provide the coffee. In general, the experience we had was unpleasant.

Good location. Shower worked. Nice staff. Dirty sheets. Unwashed. Black hairs. No windows except for roof opening

This used to be my local pub for about 25 years before I moved away, it was always a great pub with great staff. On my last visit, I cannot honestly say there was one thing that I liked. I asked a staff member about a room and she contacted somebody else and they told me that I had a twin room as I had asked for. I’m going to the room. I discovered that it had a double bed with unpressed, duvet, pillowcases and sheets. The pillows were like tissue paper, so I asked if I could have some more pillars and a member of staff told me they don’t usually get out pillars. He will have to text his manager. I heard no more about this.

The mattress and pillows needed replaced. The mattress had lost most of its support and the pillows were not... "fluffy", I guess would be the best term. The toilet on the second floor seemed to have a mind of its own. It would flush here and there, as if the tank was filling properly.

Perfect for a night or two, convenient and comfortable. Parking was useful. Good value you for money. Not the best shower ever, but didnt bother me much, just needed a place to crash for a night, so was perfect for that.

Is safe around and night too ,close to a subway station under 10 minutes walk that for me is very important and for the price you paying for it was good for me I wish the room have toilet in but again for the price you can’t ask for more

No breakfast was provided, the Internet is not connected since Sunday thet i checked inn The room we saw on Internet is different from the one you alocated to me, i mean the sizes the room you alocated to is very small but is neat

budget room for a budget price

Loved my stay, it’s a great location, staff were super friendly. Had a tv, tea and coffee and shower. Everything you need. And you can’t beat the price. Bed was a bit springy but I just slept on top of the covers. It was such a great price that it really didn’t matter.

the location was great close to a underground station. staff were friendly and helpful, the room was basic but met my expectations

Excellent place to stay. Nice room with a shower and a comfortable bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. The pub is a proper boozer and good for watching sports. Hotel guests get a 10% discount at the bar which is great ? the food is great also. Everything was good ?

Room was comfortable The curtains weren't quite wide enough and although double glazed there was a lot of traffic noise. Seemed to be a bit of a draught through the window.
