Appears that the property is closing so any review is not really relevant. However, it is a nice pub in a nice area, about 15 minutes walk from the tube. Standard dorm accommodation above the pub which is good value. Not allowed to pay cash for the hostel, but you could buy beer with cash! Why? As ever with Pub Love, some of the toilets/showers were out of action, but that is probably down to the landlord taking the property back next week.

Nothing, do not stay here. Do not stay here. If you’re thinking of booking this hostel, don’t. I was booked for 5 nights, after one, checked out and found a hotel. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, there was toilet paper all over the floor, toilets blocked, nothing clean, smelt terrible with no ventilation at all, the showers were dirty with no hooks to hang anything on. The beds were extremely crammed, there was a weird stench in the room and the floor was on a lean. The staff were okay, when I complained upon check out I just got told to email the address on the room key, did that, haven’t heard anything back. Do not stay here.

If you're a female traveler, please just pay the extra £5 and find another hostel. The heavy-set staff member was extremely rude. If you're a female traveler, please just pay the extra £5 and find another hostel. The heavy-set staff member was extremely rude.

Modern dormitory and bathrooms. Left over food found in locker despite no food policy in dormitory.

Overall good value for money Check in with a very helpful ausy chick listening the chemical romance. She gave me a great bunk bed (#8 at room 6) with a window next to it. The shower is warm in a spaceus and clean bathroom. In the morning, I checked out with Mr Watson at the front desk, who helped me with my belongings. I bicycle to this location which is within reach from the Thames and easy to find
