Nice and clean hotel. My daughter was excited for the swimming pool and it was a nice break in the evenings to be able to swim before heading to bed for the evening. Would recommend.

Great location for Waterloo Station and access to the Southbank area, tube a short walk away. Hotel was clean, staff were helpful and an added bonus of being able to leave your bags in a secure locked room before checking in and after checking out. Pool was nice, can’t comment on the food as didn’t eat in the hotel. Would definitely use again.

Great location — close to stations/attractions, plenty of restaurant options and yet away from heavy tourist locations. Very friendly staff. Probably just to manage pool booking as it was overly crowded at time of booking when we tried first time but other than that, everything was great.

The property was located in a great spot for the things we wanted to do. Easy to get to the train station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room could have been a little cleaner. There were scuff marks on the walls but overall was good. We had to ask for bedding for the two twin beds, it wasn’t in the room or offered when we were checking in with 4 people.

I stayed here with my family as we were celebrating a birthday and attending a production at the Globe theatre. From the warm welcome at reception (Denise)to the excellent customer service from all staff, everything was amazing at the Novotel hotel Blackfriars. The hotel was family friendly,with a great pool. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the staff were attentive and helpful. We have stayed in a lot of central London hotels in the past and this was the best in terms of warm welcome for the family and customer service. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and attentive, making check-in quick and easy. My room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a very cozy bed. The facilities were excellent, and everything felt well-maintained. What stood out most was the exceptional service—every staff member was friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience. Comfortable, clean and warm rooms. Restaurant was lovely and decently priced. Lovely staff Not that I didn’t like- however the pool was very cold & the pool area could use more chairs as it was very busy and nowhere to put towels etc.

Close to a tube (Soutbwark). Good value for a family room. Before check in, I asked for a quieter room and staff were accommodating, putting us on the 8th floor in a corner room. Great pool.

Location, staff is very professional, great value for money for London. Breakfast could be better, the room is not cleaned daily - housekeeping only comes every other day unless you specifically request it, but I guess that’s why they’re very price-competitive…
