The room was okay and neat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. If you are not familiar with London, the location is perfect for you for tourist attractions. Access to everything London is known for. climbing the stairs to the fourth floor was stressful for my family and no lifts.

The Notting Hill Gate hotel was really affordable per night for a double room. That's a great price for the area! Admittedly my room was on the fourth floor so I'd hit my daily step goal before even managing to leave the hotel. It was clean, and staff made the bed and changed the towels every day. I'd definitely stay here again. Just maybe on a lower floor next time. Okay. So my room had a skylight and air conditioning. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The window has remote controls. However - the back of the control was broken so the controller would reset at a random point in the night and close the window. If you can sleep with Aircon on then you're fine. I unfortunately did not have that option. I really have to search deep to nit-pick at this price point.

Nothing This is a scam. Most people check in and immediately check out once see the rooms. Obviously with no refund - you are forced to sign a waiver before seeing the rooms . Tiniest crappiest room we have seen - literally fits a tiny bed only - no place for suitcase or anything else. World's tiniest fan affixed above - no aircon. Everything is old and disgusting. To avoid at all costs.

Excellent location, a few minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station. Basement apartment, very quiet. Clean. Room tided and towels changed every day. The mattresses could be better. Some towel hooks and shelves in the bathroom would be useful.
