The only thing we liked was the location as it was very close to the train station and the Underground. Not sure where to start so I will start at the end. Our last morning there was a cockroach in our room. And not a small one either. That was the last straw. But from the beginning our stay was lackluster. The first two people we encountered were lovely. And another who was very kind as well. When we actually checked in later in the day however, the woman behind the desk was less than friendly, and even a bit dismissive when my husband questioned our room being in the basement even though it was labeled as 704. Upon entering the room, it was tiny. Fine, we would make it work...that is until someone started dropping bags of laundry from the above floor to right outside the window in our room. Loud smacking noises. We requested another room and boy was that a mistake. The room was larger, yes. And no laundry being tossed outside making loud noises. But it smelled upon entry. And you could tell it wasn't necessarily guest ready. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink, the glasses were mismatched, and there was no coffee maker. Kettle yes, coffee maker, no. The TV remote didn't even work for the TV in the room. And then, the cockroach. And not a lot of sound proofing either as we could hear bags rolling across the floor above us and even the vacuum cleaner. Yes, we could have left but not without losing money. Wasn't what we had expected from a 4 star hotel and needless to say we won't be booking with them again.

Nothing The room I booked online and what they gave me was not the same. Completely misleading. I booked four nights and left after the first to go stay somewhere else. I was never offered any compensation. I was told I would get an email from the GM, that never happened either.

Great location - only 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station and the airport express train. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely gifts in the refrigerator free of charge. Very thoughtful.

Location was great. Close to Heathrow Express at Paddington Station. Room was very nice and comfortable. There were people sleeping on the porches next door. It felt a little off putting to walk by at night.

The location is excellent very near to Paddington Station. The station has underground tubes coming to and from all directions. Elizabeth , Circle , District and Bakerloo. The place has many good Indian and continental restaurents around. I very much liked the services of staff paticularly TIONNE, ITGEL, LESSE and Mr SHAH of INDIGO Hotel which is sister Hotel and just at the back of this hotel. But the room size is very small. I had paid extra for a bigger size room which was not available and despite promises could not be made available till 2 days.On 3rd day a room was offered supposedly bigger in their eyes , but after inspection I declined because this room had smaller table.

Location is fabulous! The hotel has updated rooms with great walk in shower. Restaurant for breakfast had great selection, quality and service was excellent. Manager Emed was amazing! Addressed our concerns and provided an excellent solution. For us it was the room location and over looking equipment and roof top. For a “ privilege” room with city view our expectation was a tree lined street view. The manager Emed immediately addressed this and provided complimentary breakfast each morning for us and stated he wanted to ensure our stay was perfect.

Great location and comfortable room. The room rate was high

Tucked away off the main road & opposite a beautiful garden. The staff were absolutely lovely & so helpful. Our room was lovely.

We loved the size of this room and the bed! The complimentary champagne, soft drinks, and chocolate were also a great touch. We also loved the robes provided and overall felt very well cared for the the staff the entire time. The pillows could've been a little softer. Water pressure was a touch low in the shower.

Convenient to Paddington station. Over crowded front with a long line for check in, then the room was not ready at 3:00pm as was promised. The front staff swiping my card and then charging 8 times the amount quoted through booking.com when I already paid for the one night stay at the time of booking. The overcharging still not resolved despite numerous communication with the hotel and submitting documents. The hotel located in very busy area near Paddington station, not exactly Hyde Park. Recommend looking for a better deal elsewhere near Paddington, or pay a little more for a true Hyde Park experience.

The only downsides were that the room was extremely small, and the elevator was quite slow, especially during breakfast time, so it often took a while to get up or down.

Location overlooking a quiet garden square.
-
The room is a little small.
-
Fridge was broken(light inside had caught fire or somthing and melted the cover and fried the electronics), drain in sink and shower broken, door in shower broken. AC not working through the night, woke up to it off and room alot warmer then when i fell asleep.

Access to the breakfast area had furniture in way
-
Not many stairs. Elevator came when requested. Gave us a room in the basement. Only one hook in bathroom to hang a hand towel. Need two. Should have free water in room or in lobby. Elevator did not show all room numbers. We were in Room 704 and no such room was shown in elevator. No creamer for coffee in room. Only sugar. Bed was hard like a board.

Comfortable and relatively spacious room

Perfect location for access to underground and express trains Room were small for 2 people
-
Only advantage is its location. Extremely tine rooms and pricey rates.

Italian restaurant and location Room temperature- too warm. Asked staff about it twice and still too warm . Thermostat was difficult to adjust as it was in Celsius.
