Everything was excellent; the views, the hotel, the staff, the food and the location Nothing

The property is beautiful and has everything you could need for a family vacation on the loch. The beds are not comfortable and there is some noise from the bar and outdoor areas at night. It’s a good destination for families and business conferences/retreats but is not a luxury experience.

I typically do not put much faith in reviews but had read some negative comments online ahead of our trip which left me cautious in my expectations. Despite this, given its location and range of services, we chose to book this property. Upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the hospitality we received. From the assistance with luggage to the free valet of ones vehicle to a personal tour of facilities by CJ...all was welcome and melted away any reservations we had about this property. After a boat and bike outing on Loch Katrine (highly recommended) we enjoyed relaxed down time over tea and scones and even booked tickets to the onsite cinema and took in a movie ahead of dinner. Review comments about "nickel and diming you" were unfounded and, from my perspective, petty. If you seek a full range of immersive services in your travels, Cameron House will not disappoint.

Our stay at Cameron House was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere very special. A very special thank you goes to Heather, who checked us in. She immediately made us feel welcome and created such a magical first impression of the hotel. She was incredibly kind, warm, and positive, especially towards our nine-year-old grandson. She took the time to explain everything to us without ever making us feel rushed. Her genuine care and enthusiasm made all the difference, and she deserves special recognition. We would also like to thank Keeley at reception, who was also lovely and helpful. There was a lovely man in a grey suit, he was at the reception when we checked in. I didn’t get his name, but we met in the corridor and he took the time to ask how our stay was. Having said that, what really makes Cameron House exceptional is every single member of staff. From reception, housekeeping, laundry, room service, the restaurants, afternoon tea, and the activity teams, everyone we met was outstanding. Unfortunately, I can’t remember everyone’s names, but every single employee was friendly, professional, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a wonderful stay. They are a credit to Cameron House. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are stunning, the views over Loch Lomond are breathtaking, and there are so many activities to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds are wonderfully comfortable, and every detail makes you feel relaxed and cared for. Words really don’t do Cameron House justice. It is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, but what makes it truly exceptional are the people who work there. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism turn a beautiful hotel into a truly magical experience. Thank you to everyone at Cameron House for making our stay so memorable. Nothing

Our evening meal booking on our first night was a complete cock up.

Clean, scenic

Beautiful property with several restaurants, spa facilities, even a movie theater. We were surprised they were even showing a recent release, not just older movies. All staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. There were many gluten free options in the restaurants. The included breakfast was far beyond anything we’ve ever had anywhere else, with full wait service. Staying here is a luxury experience. We loved everything, although we wished our room was on a higher floor or further down the hall, as our loch view was partially obscured by the corner of the roof of the next section of the building.

John the doorman was a pleasure....The pool was an excellent discovery and the breakfast was the most amazing I've ever seen..... That we only stayed one night.

Location was fantastic Staff, service, facilities, food, cleanliness
-
The property was ok, beautiful and good condition. Staffs were good as well. Not being able to assist a vulnerable client in their property
-
Staff were amazing and helpful. Special thanks to the concierge guys who welcome you at the front.

Staff, service and facilities That we can’t come more often
-
Breakfast was outstanding. Room excellent, flat pillows were great, rare to have that. Signs for which floors could be better. LaVista restaurant average, disappointing. Breakfast French toast disposing. Fitted sheets would be better.

The staff were helpful and friendly however the hotel was chaotic sometimes in their approach and clearly disorganised. This is not the fault of individual staff more a systemic process issue. The view from our room was lovely. The room we were allocated was run down. I opted for a room with a balcony however it was in the ‘new’ extension which unfortunately is soulless and very reminiscent of a bit like a work venue sadly. The room, albeit in a new wing, was shabby. Paint in our room was peeling off the walls in places and lamps and toilet roll holders were grubby and hadn’t been polished or cleaned for a while! We have stayed in this hotel twice before and those stays were wonderful however it has definitely gone downhill over the past couple of years and we won’t visit again, nor would I recommend to friends or family (whereas previously we would have done). Such a disappointment as we booked as a treat for New Years celebrations! On the last morning there were lengthy queues to access breakfast, even though there were many empty tables still uncleared and were advised to go the The Tavern instead for breakfast. We were met by another hotel guest who advised not to stay as there were no staff, not much food left and no crockery or cutlery! We didn’t have breakfast and left to go the nearest Starbucks for a better service. Such a shame that the magic of this hotel has been lost, very disappointed.

Tavern Bar - Service and set up was terrible for a 5 star establishment.
-
It’s in such a beautiful location very scenic a beautiful Scottish destination The room was comfortable and nicely designed ,but in that type of hotel you would expect, a bigger bed and a larger bathroom with a separate shower. It was also far too busy at breakfast time, with a really long wait in a queue. I think more staff at the event bar would have been a good idea too.

Beautiful location and property overall! That we had to leave to go home

Cameron Grill was excellent, staff was excellent and very helpful, pool is perfect for children, and the view was perfect.
