Location and Bema and Deepa make the place Location have stayed there before starting to look it’s age.
-
Shower no tub.
-
Friendly staff It smelled like sewer, barely big enough for one person nevermind two, very dirty, and the bathroom vent fell off the ceiling when showering and did not replace

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Good location

This is a small family run business. The staff was really friendly. The room was clean and cleaned daily. The breakfast was nice, lots to choose from. Staff was present to offer help and refilling the buffet as needed. The location of the hotel was good, two to three blocks from the central square and the main shopping/restaurant street. Easy 5 minute walk. The hotel is also located just below the historic part of town, you just need to cross the street and start climbing the wonderful narrow streets. The only negative for us was the location of our room, it was very noisy. We had the corner room with a busy intersection below our windows, a police station down the block, so listening to sirens throughout the night and passing traffic. The noise level is the reason for my lower score. Also to note, the rooms are up on the third floor (37 steps) and there is no elevator. The staff will help carry your luggage. However, if you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the best place for you.

The room stinks, very strong bad smell. It was hard to be in the room. At least we had a balcony and opening the door helped.

Great location, with a good breakfast! Clean room and friendly, helpful staff.
-
Well located Expensive for quality of the room, building and facilities.

The room was good, bed very comfortable. It was clean, modernly decorated. Blackout curtains helped sleep comfortably. Breakfast was OK, but coffee was delicious (adjustable strength on a dial). Staff were very helpful and smiling. Location is just perfect. Although the main entrance is secured by a card reader, locks to the rooms fail to meet any modern standards - property requires an upgrade to electronic locks. In-room safes would also help, as well as wall sockets with USB ports.

The location is excellent! All nearby attractions are in walking distance. Breakfast was too basic. There is no elevator, so may not be suitable for people can't climb stairs (just to inform in case someone finds it's useful).

Comfortable, great location and friendly staff. Everything was great No complaints
-
The breakfast did not start until 8:30 am. Most of our tours started earlier than this so we missed breakfasts that we had paid for. If you gave early starts then don’t pay for the breakfast option.
-
location was excellent! room was small. no outlets for charging electronic devices.

The location is very good. Breakfast starts at 8:30. There are not enough tables to accommodate all guests. You may have to wait. So plan accordingly. There is no elevator. The towels are old and you will get just two bath towels and one hand towel for two people.

Great location. Clean Since there is no staff at the desk all night, there is a huge and very secure #2 door that is operated by the room key RF keychain. It was left at night by guests (we think) who were not very considerate for the others . I closed it twice in two nights. Without it being closed one simple kick would have open the door to the Lobby . This is not the workers fault. We speak Portuguese however there were Only portugués TV stations - not a big deal but a little news at night or in the AM would have been nice
-
The accommodation is very well located, within walking distance of many main attractions. The staff were welcoming and the place had everything we needed. The only downside is that, being in the city centre, the streets can be quite noisy late at night and very early in the morning.

All clean every day. The breakfast is really good. The staff is super friendly The small room is too small and smells damp
-
Amazing location!

The shower cabin wasn't closing perfectly and on top the shower cap broke. I informed the staff but until I left it wasn't resolved. The breakfast lacks diversity, but if the stay isn't very long, it should be fine.

Breakfast is marginal. There are no variations. Coffee maker doesn't work.
