The breakfast was wonderful and the staff excellent. It's also a uniquely attractive property.

Clean. Nice location. Good profile of customers. Silent.

It was very clean and breakfast was good There was a lot of stairs to climb up and the poor luggage man had to carry our luggage up I felt so bad for him.

The hotel was located in a quiet location, but was not too far from restaurants and public transportation. I had a broach inside a zipped pocket if my hard case carryon luggage. When I came home, it was missing. One day during our stay, I forgot something and went back to the room and noticed someone had been there because the towels were gone, but the room was not made up. There is no proof, but was glad my other valuables were in the safe. We checked out the night before departure since we were leaving at 6am. We had 2 drinks that night in the courtyard and paid for another drink my husband had earlier. Total paid by cash for the 3 drinks were €30. In the morning, we were told we owed another €10, but the reception lady couldn’t tell us what it was for. I saw she had a paper with €10, but no more info. We had to leave for the airport, so we paid and left. One more thing. We were told there would be someone available to help us with our luggage in the morning. There was only the reception lady and she would not come and help us. Another staff happened to come to work, so he helped us get the luggage down to street level. Someone helped us when we checked in, thank goodness! There are lots of steps to get down to street level, so again, we were disappointed by the service. During the stay, the staff were very nice.

Beautiful old convent with inner courtyard

Great location a little bit away from hectic tourist areas, with more locals and long term residents, excellent local restaurants and great tram and bus services. Bedroom was quiet and comfortable, but could have been more spacious.
-
Great location and staff. Charming space . Lots of stairs especially if lots of luggage but staff was very helpful with the carrying .

Here is just one example: I had a 6:00 AM flight and went to the desk early to check out. The staff member kindly invited me to have breakfast before I left! To my surprise, fresh pastries and a freshly made omelet were already waiting for me. My wonderful stay in Lisbon was largely thanks to this hotel. Highly recommended!"

We like the traditional surrounding, the common rooms and the excellent breakfast as well as a very friendly staff. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Not having hotel resturant

It was very beautiful and super relaxing. Nothing! We loved it all.

bed was uncomfortable, and the location is a bit bad if you're there for tourism. Just far enough away from everything to be inconvenient

Beautiful old characterful building in a good location, easy walking to sights in all direction and close to a train station too. Bedroom was comfortable and well furnished, I was particularly appreciative of getting new bottles of mineral water ever day. WiFi was great and allowed me to comfortably work at the desk in my room. Great breakfast too. Nothing really. My only suggestion would be to have a bell or similar at the reception desk for when service is needed

Breakfast isn't worth $15.

The breakfast was wonderful--lots of selection and options. The location was central enough to walk to almost everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. I wish breakfast had been included in the accommodation cost. Also, our beautiful room faced a lovely court yard but the down- side was that people gathered there to talk and smoke and we noticed that in our room even with the windows closed.

It was a wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations. The venue was full of character and nice to see and be in with a nice terrace and separate living room to chill a bit. It was a former old monastery as I understood which has been renovated (and quite well). Best of all was the coziness and atmosphere throughout especially with the very touching high level of service on a personal level that was provided. A little personal breakfast at 5am since our plane left so early was really outstanding. Perhaps the ability to regulate the temperature in the room a bit better. We managed in the end but it would certainly have helped. Everything else was outstanding for us.

Very nice room. No easy to reach the reception.

Good…lovely atmosphere. Stairs…need a lift. Bad view from 305.

The property was beautiful! Loved the courtyard seating and the quiet location not too far from center of town at all. The staff was a delight through and through. Room was gorgeous! Decor was on point was soft blues and pretty wallpaper. So much storage in the room as well! Bathroom was nice and large, and bed was comfy. Great room overall! The stairs up to the property were expected but wish there had been someone there to help with luggage after a long flight.
