When I asked about it, the staff said the assistant had made a mistake and that the 4-bed room was only for Peruvian girls. However, even after I left, the mistake was not corrected. Also, there was no luggage storage available for the day.

I only booked one night at this little hostel, but I ended up staying three — and I honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, like staying with friends rather than at a hostel. The place itself is small and charming, with a cozy vibe that makes you instantly relax. The facilities are simple but very well kept, and the common areas are perfect for meeting other travelers. But what truly made this place unforgettable was the staff. They’re not just helpful — they’re genuinely incredible. They went out of their way to make sure every guest felt cared for, offering tips, sharing laughs, and creating a family-like environment. And then there’s Lorenna… she was, without a doubt, the most amazing woman I met on this entire trip. Her kindness, energy, and beautiful smile lit up the whole hostel. She has this rare ability to make you feel completely at home, and she turned what was supposed to be a quick overnight stop into one of the highlights of my journey. I can’t thank her enough for the conversations, the help, and the pure joy she brought to my stay. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with staff that treat you like family, look no further. I’ll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended! ❤️ I stayed at this hostel for three nights after originally planning for just one. While the staff were friendly, I had a bad experience that ruined part of my stay. One evening when I was walking down the stairs to my room, the lights were completely off. It was pitch dark and I couldn’t see the steps properly. I missed a step, fell down, and ended up spraining my toe quite badly. It was painful and made it difficult to walk for the rest of my stay. I feel this is a basic safety issue that should have been addressed — proper lighting on the stairs at night is essential, especially in a hostel where people come and go at all hours. The place has a nice vibe and helpful staff, but this accident could have been easily prevented. Be careful if you stay here, especially at night.

Stay here for many times, all excellent

Good location. Good security. But 4 floors with no elevator. The place needs a deep clean, in the rooms and bathrooms, stairs and shared kitchen. Power of shower was not very good, but did have lukewarm water. Bed was a bit small for two people but comfortable.

The location is great, it's quiet yet central, and close to a lively park + you have whatever you could need a few blocks away. The room was basic but nice, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. There's a kitchen for guest use where you can boil water and use the microwave. The staff were a bit hit or miss; some were friendly but others not really sociable, and it happened a few times that we asked for help or recommendations and they didn't seem to care to help us (e.g. we needed water and asked where we could buy it, and they sent us to a non existent store instead of letting us know they have water available for sale at the hostel). The room was also a bit damp, but this might be a Lima thing. There should also have been somewhere to hang clothes in the room, and maybe other storage space.

The place was relatively close to the center and they returned our money without too much hassle. Our room reeked of disinfection, there was a thick layer of it on the floor. The toilet was leaking water. And there was a party thrown by the hostel with music playing full blast well into the night right underneath our windows.
