The hotel is located in a nice central location. The lobby is very nice and clean and the room setup was lovely; however, I had a poor experience during my stay. The first night was very unpleasant due to an old AC unit causing high humidity and a very musty smell. There was visible mold on the air conditioning unit. I asked the girls at the front desk for some cleaning supplies, but they said they could not supply them - I had to purchase my own to clean the mold. They said they could not switch my family to another room, so we just had to endure it for the night. The next morning, the manager had the air conditioning unit replaced - which confirms that there was a significant issue with the one that was already there. Night 2 was much better with the new unit. My biggest disappointment was how this was all handled. The hotel could not refund me the one night because I booked through hotels.com. They offered me a free one night future stay, which I am not interested in. If I had known I’d be staying in a humid, musty, moldy room, I would have saved some money and booked a cheaper place.

Aside from the cleanliness concerns, the overall trip was decent. The hotel was not the best we have stayed at, but it was certainly not the worst. The pool area was enjoyable, and the breakfast was okay, although there is room for improvement. I also believe the hotel could do a better job maintaining the exterior and surrounding areas of the building. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Rehoboth beach/boardwalk, and Lewes beaches. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

This is not your "typical" Staybridge Suites. In fact, it seems that perhaps this was a previous hotel that may have been converted to a Staybridge (not sure). It does not have that "at home" feel or room quality of other Staybridge Suites. Here is why: the rooms have noisy window A/C units (no central A/C). It took a very long time to finally cool the room (the A/C could barely keep up). I did notice the filters were very dirty in the A/C unit, so to get more airflow I removed them which helped some. The water pressure is not great for a shower, so expect to take extra time trying to rinse off while showering. The toilet had brown crud underneath the front bottom of the toilet, from what appeared to have previously been a clog (?). The room configuration is that of a typical hotel room, bathroom counter and mirror is all in the bathroom (not separate as is typical in other Staybridge hotels). The room did have a balcony, but it directly faced an adjacent balcony, so didn't use it all. We didn't eat the breakfast or use the outdoor pool, but the pool and outside eating area did seem nice. All in hotel, an OK hotel, but if you are looking for the premium feel of a typical Staybridge Suites room, this is not the hotel for you.

Breakfast was plenty and good, room was spacious and well equipped for our stay, supermarket very close and you can buy groceries and cook if you do not want to eat out all the time. Everything was close to the hotel, shopping for groceries, outlets and the beaches were very nice, just that the weather did not favor us, but it was a very nice and good experience.

It was a pleasant experience the room was clean comfortable

Clean. Spacious. Kitchen. Breakfast The beds are not queen size. They are full size. I feel mislead by the description on Booking. We expected queen size and were disappointed in the smaller beds. We also paid for the queen size so I feel like I was over charged for what we got.

Location Outdoor pool Rooms with balcony The hotel lobby and outdoor sitting areas close at 10 pm, hotel did not offer an alternative place for our group to gather. Very unfortunate/disappointing when you are traveling with a larger group of people with children on VACATION and you are told to keep quiet at 10 pm on the WEEKEND too! The only option was for us to stay out front in the parking lot if we wanted to stay out past 10 pm.

Awesome experience,

The check in lady was above & beyond to make us feel welcome. She also helped us to find places where my granddaughter could have some fun. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. We did not use the kitchenette. We saw some utensils and dishes. We will planning to come back next summer. Thanks Rashelle ( sp)

The employees and the nice stuff around and inside the building

I love the fact that a beach hotel you can bring in your own products like food drink, and you’re having it in your room The breakfast was not good quality of food

I liked the location, suite rooms, and modern flare. Good room and friendly staff. Some of the updates were falling apart like the kitchenette floor.
