Clean, spacious, friendly staff, convenient to Tangelwood, more reasonable than other sites Not enough shelving in bathroom for your stuff, not much of a continental breakfast

Close to our music venue Free breakfast was very limited.

The room smelled awful. It said it was nonsmoking but had a strong smell of cigarettes. Overall the room was outdated and just served as a place to sleep. I won’t stay there again.

I paid a superior rate for the room. It was not worth the dollar amount. The bathroom ceiling leaked twice in one night, making it useless. The phone in the room was broken. The manager stated he could do nothing because there were no more rooms available. I did not get any compensation for having to sleep in a room without a functioning bathroom.

Room was clean and comfortable. Always nice to have a frig and microwave.

Very nice staff and very clean big room. Not a new hotel but it is well kept and budget friendly, less than 50% of other hotels nearby, during the Tanglewood festival. Prepared food at the supermarket across the hotel was great and inexpensive. Free shuttle at the supermarket to downtown Lenox every hour.

Shower floor was not clean - buildup of dirt and grime over time. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Grounds maintained well.

Superb

We liked that the staff was friendly and helpful. We were very disappointed in the room. The first room we checked into smelled very badly of mildew and cigarette odor. The staff was very accommodating with changing us to a different room. This room had a musty odor but was a big improvement over the first room. Although the bathroom was clean, the shower curtain had tears in it and the toilet height was very low and challenging for someone without a disability, never mind someone with a disability, bad knees etc. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable however, we observed layers of dust on the lamps and telephone. We will not be staying here again.

Good

The motel is in a great location. You could walk to everything. The room was clean and comfortable although the air conditioning in the room didn't work very well. The fan ran but it didn't cool the room.

No frills but clean updated and affordable. Great location to Tanglewood and The Mount. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

No safety rails on showet

Only upside was relatively close to Tanglewood Room was shabby, smelly (heavy use of air fresheners) uneven flooring near door, ancient microwave and coffee maker, lumpy bed, old and loud air conditioner, tiny old bathroom, room faced busy highway, breakfast offerings minuscule and not very healthy. Cost was way over what the product was worth.

Its location. The curtain did not fully close so light shone in.

We had a big room. Light on mirror in bathroom.breakfastthe The breakfast was nothing to write home about. Coffee in lobby was weak. The room had an old feeling to it.

Great hotel for a reasonable price. The only drawback is that they didn’t offer shampoos and body wash like most hotels but otherwise a great value.
