The location is excellent. Right in the heart of everything. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Really helpful and like to take the time to make sure your stay is great one. The advertise as dog friendly but there are no areas of the hotel to sit and relax with your small dog. The hotel lacks communal spaces. Very little seating or anywhere to chill out, especially true with a dog. Also we have one very small, very clean and very cute dog. To be charged £30 to ‘deep clean’ the room is excessive. Especially as the room wasn’t exactly spotless when we checked in ourselves. Only other thing to note is the beds aren’t that comfy

Central 5 minutes from railway station. Room was large and bed very comfortable. Easy check-in/out. Shower though large overall was cramped where it mattered. Lifts were a bit of a pain.
