Front desk was great one bellboy was great but needed a bellboy at end of stay and they never showed up.

Surprised at how clean and nice it was, and all the food we had was great. Super staff as well.

LOVED IT! Everything felt luxurious. Valet parking was free. Smelled like bleach at check in/out time because they REALLY clean everything.

We stayed several days GN Lake Charles, place was nice, rooms nice, but they really need to replace some Mattresses the sides on mattress was broke down so you rolled to the side. There was no frig or microwave, so what do you do if you take leftovers to your room. I won’t go back.

Resort fee is ridiculous. Pool a Roudy nightmare with trash all around the pool

The rooms are smoke free, however guests in next room smoked 24/7 on balcony which made it unpleasant for us to be outside.

Very clean and comfortable room. However, I called the day prior to inform staff that I had misplaced my drivers license. They were able to change checkin name and told me that I would not be able to gamble, which I was ok with. I told them, I was only planning on spending time in pool while my family gambled. I changed and went down to pool right after checkin, was denied access to pool because I didn’t my id. I attempted to speak to a manager several times and was either transferred and left on hold or sent straight to voicemail. After several hours of trying to speak to someone of authority, I resorted to just laying in bed and napping. Had I been told all this when I originally called, I could’ve cancelled and saved myself such a miserable experience and a $500 nap.

Restaurant, staff and casino are top notch. Highly recommend!! Will definitely stay there on my next visit to Lake Charles!

First time here and for the first time at any hotel I am unsure if I would return. Overall was a decent experience so I will break it down. As far as the room, small issues were the plugs in the seated area did not work, hallway lights did not turn on, bathroom walls were dirty, and the TV said ‘Welcome Blank!’ Really not a big deal they forgot to do that. Highlights were the beds were comfy and bathrooms were huge with a fabulous tub. The restaurant staff were great at the Burger Bar on the beach and inside the Sushi restaurant were wonderful but the worst experience was the pool. Turns out it starts closing down over an hour before it actually closes and my daughter and I got literally yelled at by a young staff member across the pool with explicit language to “find another way” around the pool.. with some other words included. Apparently we were walking on the wrong side? The chairs were stacked an hour before closing and no one said anything upon entry because the whole pool was still open, I even confirmed with the front desk. We just wanted to eat ice cream and enjoy the view of a the pool and the few people swimming. There were also a few people out there making out on the beds and lounging so for us to get screamed at for walking the wrong way was uncalled for. Again the resort is alright but some staffs language and yelling was shocking to hear in front of my 17 year old. Overall just Okay.
