The house was beautiful, the pool excellent, the location close to shops and gordes, bonnieux. The breakfast lovely. A truly authentic French experience with lovely people. Will come back! Nothing all good.

We loved everything about La Pastorale. Eliane and Gerard were superb hosts and made us feel so welcome. The pool and breakfast was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with lovely linen and decor. Eliane gave us a bunch of lavender when we arrived which was such a nice touch. Gerard shared his homemade confiture with us at breakfast and it was delicious. We would come back again in a heartbeat and hope to do so again next year. The property is very nice. The terrace is beautiful. The hosts are very welcoming and ready to give many tips for the region. There is also a small pool you can use during hot days. The breakfast is delicious, every day a different tart and gem. And the hosts are doing their utmost to meet your tastes. Access to/from property without a car is difficult due to the very circulated route next to the house. Even if you want to go to the village. On the other hand, it is easy to get by car to the beautiful villages of Provence.

Good location Nice swimming pool during the hot weather (39 degrees when we were there) Very little privacy. The rental is not a separate gite, but a few rooms as part if a bigger house, with many other guests. Breakfast is forced outside on patio next to other guests; and owner constantly comes over during breakfast to talk about his hime-made marmelades. He is quite pushy. Also constantly asking folks to join for petanque. Very small, and basic, bare-bones rooms. Door hinges broken of one bedroom so door also did not close. Microwave wasn’t working. The parking area is very tight and not sufficient when all guests are in.

Perfect location for visiting L'Isle sur la Sorgue, and all the other beautiful villages around. The mattress was too hard, the room was very bare and hardly decorated, the very busy road is only a few meters away and the breakfast tables were under our window, hence no chance for a lay down in the morning.
