The location was outstanding, steps from everything yet quiet. The breakfast was wonderful in the courtyard. Fredrick was the best navigator getting us thru the busy city center with our car and handling all our dinner reservations.

Breakfast was hand-made and beautifully presented in the courtyard every morning. The owner describes it as an art gallery with bedrooms which perfectly encapsulates the experience. It is not the conventional hotel experience: it is more informal, quirky and interesting than that. (But no elevators, room service etc).

Beautiful Maison, Frédéric was a wonderful host, we loved the look and feel of all indoor communal areas, there was also a lovely outside shaded courtyard, our suite was spacious and breakfast was divine! My only criticism is for the price £450 pn, I would have expected the suite to be far more luxurious in its furnishings, it felt quite basic. Also again for the price a few complimentary items would have been a nice touch like a bottle of wine or champagne on arrival.

A charming converted town house right in the middle of L'Isle de la Sorgue, filled with quirky and unusual objects and art. An excellent location, and the guest house is run with great care to attention and detail by the owner. It's impossible to drive to the house but the owner offers off-site parking close by (for an extra charge). Our room was large and well-furnished, with an equally spacious bathroom. (No shower but a freestanding bathtub with hand shower).

Beautiful accommodation surrounded by wonderful art. Frederic’s attention to detail, warmth and helpfulness made sure that our stay was special. He is the perfect host. Location was ideal. Breakfast was delightful in a beautiful, private setting.

We love it all and Frederic and Mary Claire are incredible hosts and pay so much attention to all of the details. We highly recommend this hotel and it is a perfect plact for a vacation or if you are in the antique business a complete home run! It was perfect in every way!

La Maison Sur La Sorgue is absolutely stunning. A gorgeous old mansion beautifully renovated right in the centre of the old town. Frederick is the most charming and thoughtful host. The rooms are divine and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast Frederick served was like a work of art. The cutlery was so cute we purchased a set from Frederick’s store next door. We loved every moment and will definitely be back again. Thank you Frederick for creating such a beautiful place to stay.
