At least they allowed us to check in an hour early. Room cleanig. The bathroom was bad; it had a sticky thing in the toilet that I had to remove. The overall hotel was semi-clean, with various odors in the lobby and sometimes in the room. It has an old feel even though the hotel is kinda new.

Wonderful location, very clean and comfortable room. There is laundry automats in the facility which is very needed for a long Japan tour. Nothing that we did not like

In the middle of town for this price, with this standard - can't get better than that. Best location, if you want to be in town. Also exceptionally clean. The room could be a bit bigger.

It was so convenient. Near 7/11 and Nishiki Market and basically everywhere. Perfect location. We were also able to leave our bags after check out. Great value for money. Room is tight and so is the bathroom. Can't open my luggage perfectly.

The location is excellent in a major business district. It’s 5 minutes to a subway station, a Hankyu train station, and a major bus stop with multiple routes. Many restaurants and convenience stores are in the area. No closet or storage in a very small room. There is barely space to open our luggage.

The location was very close to the train station and bus stops, and it's very convenient. It's literally next to the malls, restaurants, and convenience stores. They have a coin laundry on their property, so we finally take our time and are able to wash our clothes. If it's your first time coming to Kyoto, I recommend this hotel for easy access to everything. The locations outside the hotel can easily get crowded, so make sure to leave the hotel earlier than you can if you want a less crowded experience during your stay.

There is a smoking room on the first floor near the elevator and everything in the vicinity (including the elevator) smells awful. Internet is also slow sometimes.

It’s near the bus station, shopping centers , cafe’s and restaurants. Nothing. Everything about this hotel is good.

The location is very convinient I stayed in two hotels same price ranger 7 min walk from each other in Kyoto, this property has tiny rooms, no breakfast facilities, the other hotel for same price had room twice the size , included beautiful japanese breakfast, nice comfortable lobby. Here it is very basic, almost student like hotel

1. Close proximity to places we like to go such as different stores, restaurants, markets, subway stations and attractions in the area. 2. The room wall was thick enough not to hear other occupants next door or close by. 3. The cleaning staff/housekeeper assigned did a great job cleaning the room. 4. Like that there was not a lot of foot traffic in this small hotel. 1. The smell of cigarette smoke lingers in the room from vent, hallways and in elevator. We informed the front desk. 2. The premises does not smell good. Can do better.
