It was spacious and gel comfortable

Clean, room adapted to wheelchair user, with a bath chair. Close to bus and metro station No laundry services for underwear and socks, I spent 2 hours to clean and dry them with the machines available.

Room was spacious, more than other ones we stayed in on this trip. AC timer can be set to turn on or off, which was much needed for hot nights. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Staff was nice, we used luggage storage before check in which was very helpful.

Not good washer and drier, but there is dry cleaning near buy, about 6 min walking toward Kyoto station.

Onsen and nice firm bed Green tea and coffee supplies appreciated The WiFi is quite unreliable in the rooms and would frequently drop out for some time before coming back online 15/20 mn later

Now, the rooms were a little dated—but honestly, that wasn’t a big deal. The only real disappointment in the whole experience—and I noticed this in quite a few hotels around Japan—was the internet TV. It’s pretty lacking. I couldn’t connect to Netflix, Facebook, or YouTube. Still, all things considered, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. This hotel definitely filled the bill.

This was my best stay in my three weeks in Japan. The hotel is right next to the train station but you would never know it as it was so quiet. No train noise. The staff were wonderful and I enjoyed the free amenities. There are convenience stores nearby for snacks and the bus terminal is right downstairs Absolutely nothing to dislike

Just a little bit away from Kyoto station, about 10 min. walk, and away from crowds, the area is in a nice residential area and a bit more calm. The room is spacious and clean, good value for the money. There is a local bus stop in front of the hotel as an alternative to subway or trains going around the city. Public bath with sauna is nice to relax after a long day. Friendly staff and small but nice selection at breakfast buffet. About 10 min. walk is required from Kyoto station, however short, it is a schlep with a suitcase, but too short for a cab ride.

Location is pretty good, there’s a bus stop for Kyomizudera right in front of hotel, conbini nearby and it’s a 10 minutes walk from Aeon mall. There is drip coffee in the lobby, onsen No bottled water, breakfast could be a bit better

Everything was great - the staff members were friendly and helpful, the bath area was clean and the water hot, the breakfast had many choices, the room was comfortable and I loved have the extra pillow choices. I will stay here again.

The staff are really helpful and able to speak english. The location is also good but a needs a bit of a walk to the train station. The room are also spacious but maybe because we are upgraded. Breakfast is good as well. We are staying in an Annex Building meaning that we need to cross to the other building for our rooms. Although it is only a short distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Green Rich Hotel Kyoto Station South. The building and facilities are well designed and maintained, and the room was extremely clean, beautiful, and spacious. The staff was professional and organized, and provided secure luggage storage as well. The location was extremely convenient, walkable to the train station and many points of interest. Highly recommended!

Location is great, very convenient, very close to Kyoto station and supermarket Double bed is quite small, was barely enough for a mom with 2 young kids. Please provide towels enough for all guests and 2 blankets. There was no bottled water, good that I brought mine just in case
