Good location and large room

The rooms, the interior, the AC in the rooms were supberbe the bed. You feel the Habsburg charm from the Austrian-Hungarian empire breathing through the walls. The location is impeccable too. The breakfast was overpriced for Krakow and for what it was.

Location is perfect. Breakfast is one the best, wow. Cleaning of the carpet in the bathrooms could be better

Perfect location. 5min walk to Rynek Glowny and a main train station. Very comfortable and large bed. Very nice and clean room. We asked for a dessert from a hotel restaurant's menu, got very rude answer: "oven is not working". When asked about laundry, been told to look for it in the city. Breakfast pretty basic for a 5* hotel. Definitely not worth all 5 of it.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this historic place - it has a charm and character. The room was immaculately clean and the staff are always very pleasant, helpful and professional. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and I especially enjoy the lovely breakfast room and the little gardens. For me, this hotel is truly an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of Krakow. The only thing I would suggest improving is the shower floor. The plastic floor in the shower cabin is quite slippery and having a non-slip bath mat or similar safety mat would be a practical way to help prevent possible accidents.

The only thing I really liked about this hotel was its location. The staff were nice and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, there wasn’t much that stood out. If you are looking for a truly modern, high-quality five-star hotel, I would strongly advise against staying here. I honestly found it difficult to understand how this property is rated as a five-star hotel. The hotel is extremely old-fashioned and badly in need of renovation. On our first night, we were given a room with a window facing a wall, so there was virtually no natural light at all. The air in the room was unbearable, with a strong smell of dampness and mustiness. Almost everything felt old and worn out—the furniture, the common areas, the linens, and especially the bathroom. The bathtub was so old, stained, and grimy that I honestly did not feel comfortable using it. For a five-star hotel, the bathroom amenities were also surprisingly poor. There were no proper separate toiletries—just one basic liquid that was apparently meant to serve as body wash, shampoo, and everything else. This was far below what I would expect from a five-star property. We barely managed to get through the first night. After speaking with reception, they did move us to another room, which was somewhat better. At least the smell of dampness and mustiness was less intense. However, the view was still extremely disappointing. The window faced an area where garbage and waste were stored, and whenever we tried to open the window, the smell of rubbish came directly into the room. As a result, we couldn’t really keep the window open. The bathroom in the second room also had a very unpleasant smell, and the bathtub was in such poor condition, with years of grime and buildup, that taking a shower was genuinely unpleasant and uncomfortable. Overall, this was one of my worst hotel experiences. The only real positive thing about this property is its location. The staff were kind and did try to help when we complained, and the bed itself was comfortable, but unfortunately, those positives do not make up for the overall condition of the hotel.

Location was within walking distance of everything in old town. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had a nice variety. Room was spacious and clean. Very reasonably priced! Minor issue but the street noise where the McDonalds was could be heard until at least 1am.
