The Hamuse Hotel Kodaikanal - Luxury Redefined

The location is good with a walking distance to the lake and other shopping in the area. The buffet breakfast was good. The staff was quite welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The quality of linen was average and there were no towels when we checked in, they however provided 2 bath towels for each room but no hand towels and there was no tissue papers in the room instead they had paper napkins. The room was smaller and linen could be better. The parking was quite tricky as it had narrow exit/entry and it could be blocked by water tanker or large vehicle and we had to walk as we could not take our cars out. The drinks at breakfast were all sugar loaded canned juices and tea coffee was bad.

Impeccable Cleanliness and Comfort The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, blending modern amenities with cozy touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of travel and sightseeing. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details like the complimentary bottled water, high-speed Wi-Fi. Housekeeping I was very impressed with the housekeeping service during my stay. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with fresh linens and thoroughly cleaned bathrooms. The housekeeping staff were punctual, polite, and always ready to assist, even during odd hours. They paid attention to detail, ensuring everything from dusting furniture to sanitizing bathrooms was done meticulously. Their professionalism and care made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the extra touches, like neatly arranged toiletries and timely room service. The best in Kodaikanal l The best in Kodaikanal on the heart of the town with a lots of greenary from our Room the Rooms very Clean neat and the best of it was it's freshness the food at its Restaurant the Aromas is excellent .. breakfast had a hot tasty large spread we did dine at there Wok for dinner was top notch We highly recommend this place when you visit Kodaikanal The Best in Kodaikanall

Location is somewhat at the heart of the town and is accessible easily from other spots. Room was clean had all basic stuffs needed. And all staffs were exceptionally good except one of the receptionists (see comment for "What you didn't like"). And the hotel is located opposite one of my favorite restaurants in Kodaikanal - Astoria Veg. Hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent. * The receptionist who welcomed us had real bad attitude (a guy with trimmed beard and wearing specs). * I called the hotel, to inform that I'll be checking in late, at least 6-7 times before the receptionist picked up the phone. And when I said I had to call many times he simply ignored it. * And that attitude became even obvious at the time of checking-in. His responses were so indifferent and while leading us to the room, he didn't tell us which floor the room was on and sped away from us taking the stairs. I had to call the guy who'd already reached half way the stairs and ask which floor the room was on before deciding whether to take elevator or not.

Both restaurants only Not clean, first day I stayed in first floor but power was cut off and shifted to 3rd floor, in 3rd floor every 5 min some pump was starting with high noise cannot sleep well. Both room bathroom was not clean water is yellowish color. Bed cover and Linen was not clean, some holes etc. Not worth for the money and not the standard of 4star hotel.

It says sound proof, but it doesn't work. Whenever the adjacent room make noise it clearly heard here

The stay didn't feel hygienic. The bed sheets and the bathroom wasn't as clean as one would expect. No great view from the hotel. Some of the accessories in the room were already broken before we occupied it. Wi-Fi didn't work on our first day. Felt like not worth the price. Their price keeps varying for each day and we felt like we were robbed for just making an earlier booking.
