Pension Rainhof

We liked how easily accessible skiing was. Safe neighborhood and English speaking staff. Breakfast could use some improvement as it’s considered “hot” yet the only hot items were the boiled eggs. Not up to Austrian standards. Noisy room next to train tracks.

The landlady was very helpful and offered us excellent tips and even helped get reservations. It was extremely charming

I met Tamara upon arrival. She checked me in, showed me on a map various nearby restaurants, and gave me good info about the ongoing celebration in the old town, She was super !! Breakfasts were simple, but adequate. The main train station is a short walk away, close enough to drag my bag vice call a taxi. The building itself is beautiful, especially the many flowers and outdoor areas. No elevator, but Tamara even offered to help carry my bag up one flight. Pension Rainhof is well situated between the train station and the old town, and is a good value. You can't go wrong by staying at Pension Rainhof !!

The pension is very picturesque and conveniently located in a walking distance to the Kitzbuhel city center while staying away from the night life. Tamara was very friendly and always there to help us get around or pick a place for a dinner. Overall a very good budget option for skiing in Austria. The pension is located right next to a railway which is surprisingly busy and loud, you can even feel the vibrations at times. The first night after our arrival there was only cold (or lukewarm) water in the shower, but luckily that was only an issue for the first night.

Vera cosy, clean and small hotel very close to the heart of Kitzbühel. Nice breakfast and extra plus for a large room to store the skiequipment. The skibus stops very close to the hotel and it was really easy to get around. The hostess, Tamara, was very welcoming and helpful. The stay was more than satisfying.

Very authentic property in the local style with absolutely fantastic hosts. People make a place, and Tamara and her family and colleagues made us feel more like friends visiting than paying guests. Location is great, right near the Hornbahn and with a short walk or bus ride to the Hahnenkammbahn. The only thing even worth mentioning is that it is right near train tracks. But honestly, you notice the first few, and after that it just becomes background noise which doesn’t bother you at all.

Tamara is amazing. So friendly every morning at breakfast. A lovely host. Would love to come back and stay with her again

The location was very accessible from the train station and bus stops. It was even walkable to the central lift. The breakfasts were filling and of good quality and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The nicest thing about the hotel was the people. Tamara who runs her family hotel is so helpful and kind that I felt very welcome. We were a large group and she assisted us in finding restaurant reservations. The women cleaning are excellent and friendly. The location and price was very comfortable I felt we were missing a common lobby room to just hang out, however Tamara allowed us full use of the breakfast room even in the evenings, and there were board games there too as well as coffee and tea whenever we wanted.

A lovely continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely staff.
