Red Roof Inn Chicago - Joliet

Dirty, lack of towels and roaches.

Staff was very unprofessional- the room was clean but hallways and parking lot were not

Only the location, price and the quick check in/out were the best parts. Our room was very dirty, mold on the ceiling in the washroom, the mini fridge had built up ice and couldn't close properly, so much dusting needed to be done, the "cuck" chair look like it was attacked by a cat, a lot of the furniture was damaged and the beds were absolutely terrible, very uncomfortable. The Red Roof in Chicago was a lot better, this was a huge letdown and I wouldn't pay to stay there again despite the great price.

It was okay not good staff at front desk no ice bucket in room requested one never got it

Clean and pet friendly. We were able to check in early.

It was ok...a lot of transients...flies in the room...bed and pillows were comfortable

Rooms were really out dated

This doesn't mean the hotel is bad, but he wouldn't even stay there.

A “smoke free” room smelled very strongly of cigarettes and it was overall not very clean

The cable to the tv was broken off so we couldn’t use the tv. There were no other rooms so we were stuck in a room with no tv. And there was no offer to even try to fix it.

The bed bugs

Probably wouldn't stay there again. Room had a weird smell to it. Not sure what it was but my suitcase smelled just like it when I got home. Didn't have a good feeling when we first drove up.

Didn’t feel safe

Was put in a handy capped room even though we didn’t book for one. We managed but the smell was bad. Check in should be a little earlier than 3pm not going to lie. Also parking was bad, had to park on the other side of the building due to how many spots were taken. Wouldn’t go back here again

There were cops in the parking lot when I checked in. Sketchy people all over the place all night long.

No good tv channels,bed wasn't comfortable

It was a basic facility, nothing worth mentioning. Hotel staff knocking at the door at 2 pm (and opening door cause we didn't respond) the following day of my check in which is weird what could we possibly need, we checked in at 7 pm the previous night, again the knocking at 10 am the day after that too. If we needed something we would have asked. Its just a 2 1/2 day stay (not 3 days because of check in/out times) .... horribly stained carpet and wobbly microwave plate, noisy area and someone cleaning windows at 9 am.... we can hear that ya know... drug deal happening outside by our vehicle... super grimey...
