The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, with shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer provided. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the Sultanahmet–Çemberlitaş tram station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Great value for money—I would definitely stay here again. Bed Bugs. my legs and arms got bitten by them while i slept.

There were ants in our room. And the pillows are a bit hard.

The room was ok, it had everything we needed: good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, freezer and it was clean. We stayed in a basement room, and it was surprisingly quiet. We could sleep peacefully every morning, even until noon, without being disturbed. It wasn't a luxury room, but it was comfortable and perfect for our stay. The location was excellent. It was within walking distance of almost all the main attractions in Sultanahmet, and it was also very close to public transportation, making it easy to explore other parts of Istanbul. There were plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops just a few steps away, so finding food, coffee, or anything we needed was never a problem. The host was exceptional. Every day he asked if everything was okay, if we needed anything, if we wanted the room cleaned, or if there was any way he could help us. He was always kind, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like was that many of the streets in the area are quite steep, but of course, that has nothing to do with the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if I return to Istanbul, I would be happy to stay here again.

Great location, and the price can't be beat. Ali was also very kind, helpful, and flexible! He let me know ahead of time that I would need to pay in cash -- so be sure to bring enough with you. The room was generally clean, though there were a lot of ants in my particular room, even when no food or wrappers were out at all. You should also know ahead of time that the shower (at least in my room) had no hot water.

Communication was good. The owner was quick to respond. The room was humid and smelly. I had to keep it open in order to not suffocate.

I got the room at the top. It's spacious with very nice view and sunlight. There was a desk I could work from.

Couldn't be better for the price. Best part is that Ali is always there for help when you need him. Staying in Istanbul with this great of a host and this affordable of rooms shouldn't be possible... but it is! Clean, safe, warm (went in winter), a nice bed, places to set your things, wi-fi, TV, window for fresh air, full bathroom, soap, towels, glasses for coffee/tea, ... what else do you need? I imagine that Ali is aware but the only thing that comes to mind is that the water doesn't stay consistently warm while showering (for the room I had in the basement anyways). It's cold water for 30 seconds maybe once or twice during a 5-10 min shower (I assume it has something to do with the pipes that would require a major overhaul to fix). A minor annoyance (just step out from under the shower head for a minute) -- there will be some anywhere when staying for an affordable (read: it's a room in ISTANBUL for the price of one decent restaurant meal) price. Ali has done a great job keeping the place nice while keeping costs reasonable.

The hotel owner, Ali, is awesome! The location is perfect — you can walk to most of Istanbul’s must-see attractions. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby with great prices too. Highly recommend! We’re from the USA and have a high sensitivity to mold due to past exposure. Our room on the top floor had some mold, and we noticed symptoms during our stay. It’s an awesome hotel overall with a great location and friendly staff, but if you’re sensitive to mold, make sure to request a room that’s been checked and is mold-free.

The restroom smells muggy a little bit , unpleasant humid due to bad ventilation but bearable, though....the stairs to your room is steep, not for elderly people @all ,no elevator and the room size smaller than Advertised for sure....the air-condition for end of September was perfect but I think in summer, I am not sure... overall, a pleasant stay and good value for your money.

The owner Ali Bey was very kind and helpful. He was very quick and open with his communication.

Location is great, near to main attractions. Price is very reasonable. Owner brother Ali is a very helpful and approachable person. He went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and memorable. He helped us with transportation a lot. He was always available and responds promptly when we needed him. None

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel – the room was clean and cozy, the location was great, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. What made our stay truly special was the host, who was always ready to help and make sure we felt comfortable.

This is a wonderful hotel. Special thanks to the owner of the hotel, answered all our questions and helped in any way he could. Very clean. Snow white linen and towels. Very good location: 10 minutes to Sultanahmet. It would be great if there were slippers

While by no means luxurious, the hotel is at an excellent location, several minutes walk from the major must-see landmarks in the historic old part of Istanbul, surrounded by restaurants and shops that work until late. The basement room we stayed at was clean and had all the necessities that are listed and you get a great value for the low price. The biggest positive was the host - Mr. Ali. He was extremely helpful, available non-stop and has an infectious personality. Even though it's inexpensive and fulfilled our needs, some things might be a deal-breaker if you're looking for more hotel-like experience and plan to spend more time in the room than walking around the city. The air in the room was stale and the sound isolation isn't great, as I could often hear noise from other rooms, the hotel entrance and outside. There aren't power sockets near the bed. The place was clean, but the furniture and toilet appeared old and weren't the most comfortable.
