Renzo Hotel - Special Category

The reception offers tours. You pay them directly and get picked up in a shuttle the following day, it's very convenient. They offer free breakfast but we unfortunately never got to try is as our schedule was off. Its within walking distance of the tram line that goes through all the sights The bathroom wasn't in great condition. Toilet seat was loose, shower had mould, fittings were loose and the wall exposed. View from the room is a side alley with a lot of rubbish around. There is AC in the room but it's not that powerful, it was still hot at night sometimes.

Close to main attractions. A bit outdated. Everything is functional but the maintenance was done without much attention to detail.

Great location. Staff were there 24/7 and couldn't be more helpful (except when they said they could organise a taxi, not their fault, I didn't even use their taxi but they should have said to use Uber, I'm telling everyone I know to use Uber in Istanbul. I should have taken down the taxi drivers license, they just doubled the price halfway through the trip because I was from Australia) The staff could have told me to only book taxis via Uber. If you don't book by Uber the taxi drivers will charge double. Don't risk it! Always book on Uber. The taxis were the worst part of Istanbul, very dishonest and I kind of don't want to visit Istanbul again because of 2 taxi drivers when I was in a rush and didn't use Uber

The location is prefect — the place is in a very prime spot, and the hotel is new, comfortable, and very reasonably priced for its location. The staff there, Kamal and Tarek, are honestly amazing — very helpful, friendly, always smiling, and they really try their best to assist in every possible way. I had a great experience and will definitely stay there again.

Location nearby metro station No entrance reception . One elevator , doing maintenance work ( painting walls while guests moving in the hotel ) , no minibar fridge in room , towels are very bad quality , room cleaning every 2 nights. No restaurant or coffee lounge. Nothing at all

Location The room is small and inconvenient, with poor ventilation. It was not properly cleaned. The climate control stopped working spontaneously at night, while we were sleeping, so it was too cold at night. The hotel staff pointed out that it is because too many people used it that night, and I don't know why I have to listen to this kind of excuse. He also claimed that we should leave the air conditioning off during the daytime if we are away. So we have to arrive at our room being cold. I sincerely don't understand why guests have to even think about these problems. Now I understand what "special category" means.

Location was great since it was near Grand Bazaar Room was quiet even with a mosque outside Bed was comfortable since we were tired from all the exploring during the day The room was clean Things I did not enjoy: Toilet paper holder kept falling off so kept the toilet roll on the dust bin The shower cabin was leaking water when we were showering so we used a towel to contain the water There is a sink in the room where we learned the hard way that it is not connected to anything, there should be a notice or a warning that it should not be used because you will create a pond if you pour water into the sink.

The most important asset of the Hotel was the staff Tarek and Kemek were really friendly and helped us in every moment . I thank both for their kindness and patient with me and my family . From the moment of our arrival till even with the recommendations for places to eat (There is a restaurant of traditional Turkish Food very close from the hotel that is fantastic ) and even with small talks about beautiful Turkey will be always in our memories. I am so happy to have stayed at the Renzo Hotel basically because for the amazing staff, and I am planning to come back in the future.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds that guaranteed a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to help with any requests. The location is convenient, close to public transport and local restaurants. I had a wonderful stay here and will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended!

You cannot easy see the name of the hotel, bcus it is deleted, and the worst thing was that we waited 1 hour on the street bcus hotel was closed! And they knew we are coming, and we were so tired, me my wife and my children! And I am still angry.

The owner offered another hotel far away and lower star for the same price.

When we arrive they change us the hotel and they take us to a hotel far and more less in the price and when we tell him they didnt give us back our money and we tell them to change at least to a larger room that the only thing that they do ,we tell them to booking about our problem but the hotel didnt care to give us back the money,dont book here because they know that hotel is closed and they will take you to another place

The hotel was in the perfect location walking distance to the main attractions and tram stop Rooms were small, not a lot to select from for breakfast. The hotel in general was very small not enough space to move. The dining room was located on third floor but not enough seating area. The pictures are deceiving.
