I wanna really thank Emrah, Imad and Muhammed for their kindness and being helpful. Even though the hotel itself was disappointing, the staff were trying to do their best. And they did their best to change our room because of the problem I will explain in the cons section. When we arrived at our room, there was a disgusting damp smell that made our stay impossible. The rug on the floor was wet. The window was broken and couldn't be closed. Our expectations are quite simple, the room should be pre-checked before the guest's arrival. There is no iron in the rooms and you should request it for every time you need to use it. The hair dryer was broken and the hose connected to the handle was disconnecting continuously while using. The quality was so bad and you could burn your hand because of the heat and uninsulated system. You can see rust and bad condition in the shower that makes it look unmaintained and uncleaned. We booked this hotel because we had a good stay years ago, but there is no similarity between now and then.

His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist us, especially with the buffet and room service, were truly appreciated. He always made sure that we were comfortable and that all our needs were taken care of. His outstanding service left a very positive impression on us. I would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Imad from the reception team for his warm and professional welcome. He made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and treated us with great kindness and respect. Once again, thank you to the entire Taksim Gonen Hotel team for making our stay so pleasant and special. The location is excellent, it's in the heart of Taksim Square where everything from services and commercial facilities are available at a short walk distance. Whether you need restaurants, markets, money changers, cafes, all of it is available there. They have a very handy restaurant in the hotel itself. The staff is excellent, welcoming, helpful and efficient. Mr. Emad, Hakan, Muhammad and one lady who i couldn't catch the name of were all excellent with us, whether we need information, services, or had any other query in general, they were all very helpful. I'd recommend Taksim Gonen Hotel wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a vacation stay in Istanbul. Sound, their rooms should be a bit noise proof, especially the windows need to be noise proof. Because it's Taksim Square, shops are open till late and play music loudly, which might disturb the hotel stayers.

Location, clean rooms Internet connection can be better

The room were a bit dated. The elevetors are not enough, or big enough for the hotel. The breakfast was a bit weird with limited options. Bath towels did not absorb water very good.

It’s clean, love the location, it’s close to taskim square The person work at the counter was not friendly

The location is good very close to the square and metro, The washroom is very very small the curtains in the room are broken, The cleanliness the housekeeping doesn’t clean the toilet nor the shower area with any kind of disinfectant soap or water nothing only change the bed sheet and new towels no any kind of soap or spray was used on the toilet as I’ve seen this cause I was in the room, the pool is at the basement very closed down suffocating and not accessible by elevator, the breakfast is average boring the same everyday

Literally everything, the pool, the gym, the staff, the room services, even the late checkout time (12pm is really greaat!) And it is like 1minute away from taksim meydan.. literally amazing stay and amazing everything

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout my visit. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. I would especially like to thank Amir for his outstanding support and assistance, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Ghonen is my favourite hotel all over the world, it was the fourth time I try the experince. thank’s a lot for all the staff,esspecially the gentel man (Mahmoud), and the beautiful lady on the recception (sorry I forgot your name). See you soon inshallah ❤️??

Needs some maintanance for some items and enough irons as you have to request many times till you receive it.

The location is excellent, and the hotel offers great value for money. The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast, which could be a bit more varied and enjoyable. I would also kindly encourage the restaurant staff to smile more ?—it makes a big difference to the overall guest experience. The reception team was outstanding, especially Emreh, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. I’d also like to thank Muhrmmet at the reception for his professionalism and support. Also the room service lady was very nice lady . We loved the location of the hotel and the view from our room. Although the room was not very spacious, it was comfortable and had a beautiful view of Taksim. We did not purchase the hotel breakfast because there are several great breakfast options nearby, including Mado and Simit Sarayı. This gave us the opportunity to try different breakfasts each day, which we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would especially like to thank Farahnaz, Emreh, and Amir for their excellent assistance and hospitality. For those arriving by air, a taxi from the airport to the hotel cost us approximately USD 50.
