This is an absolutely excellent location on the northeast side of the island… The turtles come into nest at this time. If you’re in August, so it was perfect. We watched them every night between 10 P.M. and four A.M. It does not get crowded on the side, so it’s just the perfect location being close to all the restaurants and shops as well. The staff is not present often, and I speak Spanish, so I do not have a problem, but they speak very little English, and they understand very little English. Our toilet flooded in the early morning and there was no one to Contact for help until after seven. Luckily, I speak Spanish and was able to communicate, but had my roommate or someone else in my Group had tried to communicate. There is no way they would’ve been able to make the person understand what was going on. I literally had to clean it up myself and then wait until the late afternoon after we returned when the staff was able to address the problem.

Location, pool, friendly staff

The location was great for everything we needed. A few of the ladies at the front desk were not very friendly - several were great. Two in particular seemed annoyed when I asked questions. I understand a bit of a language barrier but it was the first time in Mexico that I had the front desk act that way. One sighed and even rolled her eyes when I asked if there was a water refill area. I didn’t go there often and I really tried not to bother them. If I go back to Isla Mujeres, I would try a different hotel to see if the experience is different.

The location although it’s on the side of the beach with seaweed The staff is not welcoming and seems unhappy to be there. The bed is a coil bed that is overdue to be replaced, you feel the coils in your ribs and hear them each time you move. The pillows are very hard and uncomfortable and some of them smelled like sweat. The property is not well maintained or properly cleaned. We found the previous guest’s food in the fridge and sand in the bed.

Love the location and style of the property. This is our 4th time in last 2 years and always our hotel of choice to stay at. Coffee wasn’t made in the lobby each day we were there. No one checked if we needed our room cleaned or fresh towels or to replace coffee (small) as no coffee downstairs.

The bell man was pleasant I lost my cane and charger no one to help me Look for it I went into the pool it started raining so me And friend ran out my friends went into their room I ran to the front to ask for a towel She said you need your towel Card I said you know it’s pouring outside I would get more wet if I go out and up to My room it’s air conditioner here and I will get sick only after pleading the lady gave me A towel not pleasant

The only nice thing was the bell boy When I arrived they refused to give me the wifi code so I couldn’t find my reservation I had to walk down the block I also came In with a can which means clearly I am Handicapped The lady at the front desk said there were no other rooms available to switch me to a lower floor or more comfortable room and that wasn’t true because when I went on booking I saw others available I also asked for a late check Out on Saturday and she said they were at 1000 percent capacity and needed me to check out exactly at 12 Again I went on booking and saw a room available many available I booked it for another night but clearly they lied and have no idea how to do customer service especially for a return customer then I went to the room And the toilet was broken when I complained they told me There was no maintenance until the next morning at around 10 am So essentially I had to use the toilet in my room as an outside just go potty and then potty again in the same Toilet bowl till the next day obviously there was a terrible smell The room was beyond tiny Read above

It was a fantastic stay They were so sensitive to my needs they upgraded me free of charge to a ground floor they helped with my bags and everything was amazing Everything was good
-
The view of the main pool is amazing! Sea turtles come on shore at night and you can see them from the balcony! There is no restaurant, no elevator and we were on the third floor.
-
Amazing location, very private , beautiful views of the ocean
-
Great pool, right by the beach! No complaints. Everything was easy

The location was great, my friend and I were traveling without our husbands who drive (we do not) and the location made it easy for us to walk practically everywhere as it's a heartbeat away from dowtown action. But it's also hidden and far away enough for privacy, safety, peace and quiet. I loved the view and that we could see turtles burying their eggs at night. The price is also reasonable. The shower is set up in a way that it's impossible not to get water everywhere. The shower door doesnt prevent the water from leaking out so we would waste towels on the floor to mop up all of the water. It would have been nice if they had a restaurant in the hotel, even if it was just serving the basics and the bar wasn't open until Thursday and when it was open we always had to go to the bar to get our drinks, it would have been nice if they were served to us while on the lounge chair or in the pool. The people who work there did a great job, but not the friendliest people.

Great location and rooms for the price. Really like having the rooms with the pool right outside the room for the kids Some maintenance needs to be done to the rooms. Our toilet broke. The handler was rusted out. The coffee pot definitely needs to be replaced it had ants in the and was full of black grit and the shower barely had any water pressure.

Location. The room was clean No service, the staff is poor, zero service, basically is an airbnb, i had to request to clean my room, the pool area is gorgeus but they dont clean, the chairs outdoor were dirty and nobody cleaned for the 4 days we were there. You can swim at the beach in front of the hotel.

The hotel and staff were super friendly and helpful, we have stayed at numerous other sites on Isla, but this is now our favorite. If you want quiet, peaceful and close to great snorkeling, this is you place.... Not a thing!

Beautiful property, rooms were not fancy but perfect for us and you must consider the very reasonable price. So very close to great restaurants. The star of this property is the pool and beach! I have no complaints, only praise for this gem
