No Aircon, or there is but it's weak, hard to sleep

Close to the public market. Walls are not walls pieces thin wool. You can hear everyone around your room. Room? Open ceiling, lights , noise…. For one night, it might be ok.

I liked the convenience of the location and the spaciousness of the room! I was not a big fan of the common spaces of Churayado hostel. The toilet was very tiny, kitchen area was also small and busy, and I was not a big fan of the smell of the bathroom.

The "Private Room" is a small space with a twin bed and desk, plenty of storage, and lockable. There is plenty of fridge space available, free washing machines and paid dryers. The facilities are kept fairly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I have to give a poor rating due to the structure of the "Private Room". There is no roof for the room and the walls don't reach the ceiling so all the light from the hallway comes into the room. If you are unlucky, like me, and your neighbour decides to stay up until 4am with his light on then all that light comes into your room as well. It also means you can hear everything your neighbour does (made a little better with ear plugs). You can pay to check out late but you don't get to actually stay in your room late, only the common areas.

Very centrally located. You are right in the city center. You can go out wonderfully in the evening and be back in just a few minutes. the employees are always friendly and in a good mood. Even if not everyone speaks English, everything works perfectly thanks to the patience of the employees. The kitchen and bathroom could be a little cleaner.

Best location right in the center of Ishigaki, best staff, great times there! The box/capsule is spacious and they give you this super thick mat so sleeping in the dorm is also great! You can ask the staff anything about the area! The wi-fi is a bit weak, but you aren't there to sit around and watch 4K all day, right?

Cheap and conveniently located. Staff was a friendly person who helped me out to find diving places. People who stayed there seemed to be some long term residents as well as some guests. It has many capsule hotel-like partitions and you can enter anytime within 24 hours. You get what you pay for. It's cheap because it's low value dormitory with minimum facilities (Wifi, washing machine, kitchen, but I wouldn't use the kitchen because of its state). There were some hoarders, long term residents staying for a month or so, and their capsule block was a bit untidy (had collected a lot of ramen packs). To sum up: stay if you want a cultural exchange at a place where it's easy to talk to other people and you just need a bed and a roof over your head, but not more than 2 nights maybe
