Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport

The staff really made this place. Exceptional staff on the front desk. The room was freshly renovated, clean and quiet. Excellent parking. This is the best one of these types of places I have stayed at in a small town in the USA. Hundreds percent recommend.

N/A Dear Booking.com Management I am writing to formally complain about our extremely disappointing stay at Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport on August 8, 2026, and to request a full refund due to the unacceptable condition of the room and the lack of response after we reported these problems to the front desk. My family and I traveled from San Diego to Irvine specifically to spend the night and have a pleasant family stay. We chose Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport expecting the quality and cleanliness normally associated with the Hyatt brand. Unfortunately, this was literally one of the worst hotel experiences our family has ever had. Reservation details: Guest Name: Ziad Abou Hotel: Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport Address: 2320 Main Street, Irvine, CA 92614 Check-in: August 8, 2026 at approximately 3:00 PM Room Type: 1 King Studio Suite with Sofa Bed and Kitchen Booking.com Reservation Number: 5415710962 Room Charge: $201.89 Parking: $28.00 Total Paid: $229.89 The condition of the room was unacceptable for a hotel stay at this price: • The room was not properly clean when we arrived. • The refrigerator was not working. • The freezer was full of water and contained an ice cube container that was dirty. • We had to clean the refrigerator and freezer ourselves simply to be able to use them. • Even the bed sheets did not appear to be clean, which made us extremely uncomfortable sleeping in the room. Most importantly, we did not simply leave these problems unreported. We contacted the front desk and informed them about the issues during our stay. Unfortunately, nothing meaningful was done to resolve the situation. We traveled from San Diego to Irvine with my wife and son specifically expecting to have a comfortable and enjoyable night away from home. Instead, we spent part of our stay dealing with a dirty room and a non-functioning refrigerator/freezer, and we were left feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously.

I really liked the room. Very comfortable. I was here 4 days and used the dishes and fridge a lot. Everything about the room was really exceptional. If I could provide any suggestions the parking is high. That’s it! Overall. I will be back but I still won’t appreciate that parking.

AC is too loud and bathroom door is rarely set up. The water pressure is kind of low when taking shower.
