Oceanview Motel - Huntington Beach

I was also unable to get another set of towels due to the fact that the room only had two. I needed two more and the only thing possible, was to give her the towels I was currently using and get two other clean ones there really isn't an ocean view from here so don't be fooled into booking like there is. She does require $100 deposit right out the gate. Like other mentioned before, it's best to just give her $100 and then when you give the room key back she gives you $100 back. Something else to keep in mind when booking the this hotel is. There is not an easy access to the beach. You have to walk up to a road called Anderson and then you can get down to the beach from there. There is new on-site beverages in the nearest market is past Anderson, and everything closes at 9:00 p.m. In this area so that makes it really difficult to get anything you need. If you're going out, you'd have better luck going down towards Huntington or back the opposite direction to Laguna. The room itself was small. The bedding not great. I would bring my own blankets and pillows which I did and it saved me a lot of fussing. The one excellent thing about the room that I stayed in is the water pressure is great.

This place said it had a partial ocean view. You have view of PCH and a slice of ocean in between the houses across the street. No outdoor area to enjoy the California weather. 2 towels. The staff come in your room and turn off the a/c during the day.

Very cozy, friendly staff, and the location is steps from the beach and marina!

From the moment we arrived we were treated with little attentiveness. First we were put in a room that clearly hadn't been updated like they advertised. Slept out first night with air conditioning not working. Miserable. They agreed to move us to another room. This one was nicer

Horrible! Pillows old and lumpy. The shower didn’t spray properly and sink wouldn’t drain the towels were paper thin

The staff was accommodating they did not have to let our ESA animal stay but they did d o n n i k a who works the front desk was polite energetic willing to answer any questions you may have had courteous and professional on every level There wasn't anything I didn't like

The room was clean and just what we needed for a quick stay. The woman at the front desk was helpful. There was plenty of parking for no additional cost.

This wouldn’t have been my first choice anyway however we were going to warped tour so there wasn’t alot to choose from. They do have an elevator which was nice since I walk with a cane

My biggest gripe was the very poor WiFi. Next was the ice machine was out of order during a particularly hot week. And finally, the AC was very loud and didn't stay on continuously. Otherwise, great!

The spot is perfect for ME I like go back ya there's no ice maker , vending machine etc.. , it's basic and that's why cost was greaT

Rude staff and rooms dingy

We loved the manager, she was kind and quick to get us checked in. She recommended some amazing places to eat at, walking and short drive distances. Quiet locaction too.
