Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Houston at Hwy 6 & Westpark

The best thing about my stay was the front desk agent. He was so patient and kind in assisting me with checking in. The room wasn’t that nice. They need to do renovations, the door frame for the bathroom looked like someone had kicked it in, the door wouldn’t close or lock. I killed 2 roaches and found 1 in my bag… my companion also found roach in his backpack. The walls were dirty. The other occupants were arguing and fighting, and they had dogs that wouldn’t shut up. Overall I’d rate my stay at a 1, the best part about my stay here was the front desk agent.

The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable Upon arriving to the place, I my first room key, went up to the room and the door would not open. I had to get the guy at the front desk to see was wrong and he had to use the master key to open the door and told me that I would have to wait for someone to come fix it but he doesn't know when. At first I was like ok I can wait but after inspecting the room there were other things wrong like there were no towels, missing pillows, and the TV didn't work. I was not comfortable in that room so I asked for a room change. The guy was helpful with that and gave a room on the ground level which I preferred. However that room wasn't no better either. There were also missing pillows, no fridge in the room, the TV remote only works on changing channels (volume and power doesn't work). At the time I was very tired because it was late and I bothered the guy at the front enough so I let it go. On my second day I went to front to let the staff know that there was no fridge in the room and the TV remote doesn't work, she told me she will the guy that works the night shift know and he will come fix it but the never came and at that point I was over it I just didn't want my money go to waste since it was nonrefundable. Later that night, I found out there were roaches in the room. That really pissed me off but I knew if I told the staff again they were just going to say ok will work on it and actually do nothing so I had to buy a small cooler to keep my food and drinks cool, buy pillows for myself, and raid to take care of the roaches during my stay. Another thing was house keeping, i didn't get any house keeping done in my room until my last day there and I stayed there for 4 days and i had to chase her down for her to do it. Very disappointing. Morale of the story is that you get what you paid for and I will not be coming back to this place again.

I did not like anything. The worst experience ever. The place a dump, smells bad, has roaches, and bathroom door is busted(has no Knob). We moved twice to other rooms and the same experience. It should not be hotel. You should not be associated with them. The bottom line - the owners don't want repair at all; cashflow only. The guy at the desk seems nice, but he has no answer to the condition of decrepit condition in the rooms.

the bathroom door was broken and did not close completely. There was major construction happening in the parking area very early in the morning during both days of our stay.

Advertised super low price. The hotel advertised a super low price. I reserved the room. Later I tried to check into the hotel and the person working informed me that my room reservation had been canceled and if I wanted to stay there then I would have to pay full price. I left

The big red eyed flies that stick to death.

Absolutely the worst hotel i have been in The Atmosphere is really bad, so be ready to get sick!!

The property needs a big renovation not a good smell.

I went there with my family; we had booked three rooms with breakfast included, but upon arrival, there was no breakfast. When I tried to complain, the receptionist was quite understanding. Two minutes later, another young man who spoke good English came out and started insulting us, calling us names and telling us we didn't deserve to be at the hotel because we were Black. He was very serious; he told us to go to hell. I was traumatized. I cried a lot after that. I didn't have any money left to go to another hotel. I was very scared during my stay. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I didn’t like anything about the property It’s was not cleaned it was no iron in the room there was not remote in the room.

The bed and pillows was so comfortable the shower was amazing and the way it looked was so beautiful

The color scheme if I had to find something Unsafe, drug deals outside, ac didn’t work, sex workers.

Stays on the sheets, filthy floor, and a stench in the room. I couldn’t get a refund even when I was there only for two hours as it was just a terrible state of the rooms
