The Harbourview - Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

Handy location with loads of local food options just a few minutes walk away. Our room was on the recently refurbished 13th floor and it was extremely comfortable. Fantastic views. The restaurant a la carte option was disappointing. For the price charged the quality and taste was really lacking. The buffet dinner looked amazing but was extremely expensive and we only wanted a light dinner.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. The room was not clean at all, and the staff were not helpful. I had to ask them over and over again to clean my room because I was staying there for a long time, but they never cleaned it properly. The housekeeping was very poor, and the room remained dirty throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here

Used to stay there often in the 2010’s but had chosen other properties in Wanchai after Covid, just for a change. But I thought I’d give it another go recently. Location is still excellent: Exhibition Centre, MTR, Banks, and all the bars, restaurants etc are very close by, as is the walking/running path that is across the road and tracks along the harbour wall. It’s very scenic. Staff were businesslike but friendly, it’s also still an older building but very clean, well kept and tidy, plus the wifi works fine throughout the building. The room was upgraded (thank you), with a brilliant view of the Harbour. It was big enough for the 2 of us, with a comfortable Queen bed, small sofa area, refrigerator, and excellent bathroom. I’m not completely sure, but I think the rooms have been renovated since I was last there, 7-8 years ago. Whatever the case, it was an excellent experience, as was the price! Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money.

The location was very convent for getting to the convention centre. Just a few minutes walk! The beds are incredibly hard, the air con was loud and did not work that well. The gym is not well equipped (no towels or water). The promised harbourview (which I did pay for....) was a tiny window, blocked by a sofa placed right in the way also making it very hard to close the curtains. Overall very bad nights of sleep and not a great stay.

Please give to visitors water. It is very bad to sell water in hotel

room clean and new, very near to the Hongkong exhibituion center i stayed in the premier executive king room, the room is ok with 23m2, but the toilet and bath room is extremely small, if you are big size it would be very difficult to handle. no animities except the bath gel and shampoo. location very near to the exhibition center but there are not shops and foods around. howaver there is a bus stop next door for A1 bus to airport. the breakfast buffet has very few options and not a good quality

1) No international power adapter in the room (i.e if you bring a US/Canada charger you won't be able to plug in, and front desk does not provide an adapter. 2) Lack of in-house laundry facility for the guests.

The location was perfect for our purpose. Nothing significant comes to mind. If I have one complaint it would be the amount of construction between the hotel and the waterfront but, Hong Kong is growing and we were able to get to the waterfront easily with a little detour.

Great harbor view! Great value. The interior is quite dated, heard some rooms being renovated to a more updated style.

Staff were polite and efficient. The receptionist went above and beyond when I needed help since he left his bag in the cab. The room was clean, reasonably spacious, and had a nice harbour view. Will definifitely recommend and be back. Thank you, The Harbourview! NA

Very convenient when attending a conference at HKCC Nothing really

Hotel is located closely to the metro station and is very close to multiple stores and restaurants. Bed was good, but not big. There were multiple things I did not like about this hotel, but one of them is my own fault. Even though hotel is called Harbourview, only view was on old moldy inner wall without any light. If you are staying this hotel, better to choose room with a view. In our room, there was not even one bottle of water, which is the minimum standard that each hotel should have. Room was quite small and is not good fit for 2 adults. When we asked hotel staff about travel adapter, so we can at least charge our phones (we left ours in previous hotel unfortunatelly), simple no was the answer. Cleaning lady was coming into the room as early as 9am, even on the day when we were checking out.
