Villa De Campagne Hoi An- Boutique homestay with pool and family soul

A lovely, cozy boutique hotel with only six rooms, giving it a very peaceful and personal atmosphere. The property is full of greenery, with a cute little koi pond that adds to the charm. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The location is also excellent, convenient for getting to the beach as well as the Old Town. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. Highly recommended! The reception was lovely: personal and with a welcome drink. The area of the homestay is cosy and hospitable. The owner, ms. Hien and her staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious and had a private little garden with bath and ventilator! It was next to the small but refreshing pool. Breakfast and the fresh made eggs were great!! the chef was so kind. The only thing that I did not like, but got used to real quickly was the amount of time it took to get to old Hoi An. The free bicycles also need some TLC.

At first, the apartments seemed like great value for money. They are located not far from our favorite restaurant, which was very convenient. The apartment was very spacious — around 60 square meters — with pleasant colors and nice interior finishes. There is also a swimming pool, which was lovely for cooling off. Overall, everything looked wonderful at first glance. There is one huge issue with Apartment 101 that the hosts are aware of, yet they continue to rent it out. Right next to the garden, behind the neighboring fence, there is a chicken coop/pigsty. The smell coming from there is absolutely unbearable, it’s impossible to describe in words. Because of this, we couldn’t open the windows, and enjoying the bathtub while smelling manure was simply not an option. At the same time, we couldn’t keep the windows tightly closed all the time either, as the room would quickly start smelling damp and musty due to humidity. The bathroom curtains already showed signs of mold. The apartment is also quite dark because of the high fence outside. The hosts apologized, but an apology does not solve the problem. Guests should not have to deal with such conditions. This is something that needs to be resolved with the neighbors before continuing to rent out the property. There were also several smaller but unpleasant details. Drinking water was provided in a filtered jug, but bottled water was charged extra. Paying by card incurs an additional percentage fee, which feels like an outdated and unfriendly practice. The villa is located on a very narrow road where taxis cannot drive directly to the entrance. This makes it quite difficult to manage large suitcases and very inconvenient when arriving or leaving.

We had to leave an Airbnb due to how dirty it was, and thankfully we found this hotel right after. What a night-and-day difference! For the same price, the hotel was sparkling clean from top to bottom. The host went above and beyond—she upgraded us to a double king, welcomed us with drinks, and even let us check out the room before paying since we’d just had a bad experience elsewhere. Throughout our stay she was always present, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was pristine and clearly well cared for, and we loved that the hotel offered free bikes to ride to the beach or into old town. This place truly turned our trip around. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming, and affordable stay with a host who genuinely cares, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. No complaints at all!

Very large room with large bath / plunge pool (we had booked the suite). Hien the owner was a lovely lady. Western films available on TV. Good location if, like us, you want to divide your time between the beach and the Old Town (we walked everywhere) Some of the towels and bed linen were getting old and worn. Modest breakfast, mediocre coffee (however, the banana pancakes were great!)

Excellent customer service… host Mrs Hein could not have been more helpful, arranged tickets to show, taxis and lantern making workshop. She gave great advice on activities and restaurants Felt very comfortable Quite a walk into old town or beach about equidistant.

Breakfast was great, all staff members were helpful and friendly. Hien was exceptionally amazing as a host! The location is perfect, near the rice fields and not far from Hoi An old city. Great places to eat and drink around.

Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice with many traditional dishes and good services. Bike is available for free to go to the nearby rice field. The owner Mrs Hien is very helpful. Villa De Campagne is a wonderful accommodation to stay when visting to Hoian as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Champagne Villa, hosted by the wonderfully hospitable Hien. She went out of her way to ensure our visit to Hoi An was memorable. The rooms were spacious and immaculate, nestled in a tranquil location just a short distance from the main road, bustling with a variety of dining options. Conveniently, both the beach and the Old Town are easily accessible via Grab or motorbike. The breakfast offered a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Western dishes, served by a charming lady who added to the warmth of our experience. We highly recommend Champagne Villa to anyone visiting Hoi An—it truly felt like a home away from home. There's nothing to dislike.
