Glenwood City Resort

We stayed at Glenwood 7 nights for a business trip. We booked the deluxe room with balcony with a small kitchen. Here are our thoughts: Room and facility location: The room is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped including the rice cooker (a big plus). The facility is clean and well maintained including many beautiful trees and bushes, koi ponds and an on site restaurant that serves western and Vietnamese cuisine with well mixed fruits drink, beers and spirits! There are many variations of Vietnamese foods, southeast Asian cuisine and Western pub’s within walking distance or a short drive! Staffs and Services: TOP NOTCH! It’s all start with Jenny (Ms Hằng). I think she is in charge of the front office. The staff are polite, kind, caring, knowledgeable and thorough! This includes the cleaning and maintenance crew! Some of names that I interacted with: Minh, Duyên, Phương Anh, Tú and Tú (there are two Tú). This definitely makes my staying here so comfortable, happy and worthy!! It’s HOME away from home!❤️ A big THANK YOU to Glenwood Resort and the entire crew!!??

This is my 8th stay at Glenwood City Resort for perhaps 30+ cumulative days of stay. I live in the countryside and routinely commute for work, and aside Thao Dien just being the easiest point of access to my route to/from, Glenwood's just an exceptional deep value play with 4-star quality. Being that it's 4-star quality, most staff are very well trained in their role, but there isn't that impetus to go above and beyond, which is okay. Pool and gym facilities are still lacking. Breakfast staff at the hotel's restaurant are super, but the breakfast itself isn't well considered - a lot of room for improvement on the food side.

Service at the bar is slow. Got charged twice for items.

I recommend this hotel hands down. So comfortable, warm, friendly staff in both the hotel and restaurant bar area. We loved it and honestly having stayed in two other hotels in Vietnam so far, we miss this lovely friendly hotel so much already!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped. The location in District 2 is only a short taxi ride to the centre of HCMC. This area feels like a small community with coffee shops and is not so busy. The staff were exceptional not only in the hotel but also the adjoining restaurant. Now as I have stayed here in the past I requested a specific room under ":specific instructions when booking' unfortunately I wasn't allocated the room even tho I booked several weeks in advance. Disappointing but that's how things are, the hotel is a business after all. I happened to mention to Ngoc (house keeper) and the very next day I was in my favourite room. Cam on Ngoc ? The staff here are just amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. There wasn't anything I didn't like. This is the third time I've stayed here, so they are doing something right.

The room was comfortable, with pleasantly modern decor. Bathroom very good, with great, strong shower, with glass shower door, (separated from the toilet, often not the case). Staff were attentive and helpful. Restaurant was good also and pool was clean and refreshing. The pool is at the back end of the property, a bit of a walk from the resort rooms which are near the front. Plus several stories of apartment windows around the pool, close by on 2 sides, so not very private. This property is not a hotel. It's a residence apartment.

Disappointed there wasn't a swimming pool.

Very efficient on arrival even though it was quite late. The room clean and had everything we needed,the bed was a bit hard but they always seem to be in Vietnam. It was nice and quiet too.

The location is excellent since there is absolutely everything within walking distance of the property. There is a pharmacy, plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within a 10-15 min walking radius Bathrooms needs a little bit of thought. For example, In the shower stall there is no ledge or place to keep your shower gel/soap so have to place on the floor which is very inconvenient

The staff were welcoming and the check in process was quick, the room was spacious and AC was working well. The bathroom was clean and lighting all round was good. There are no elevators, so becomes difficult for senior citizens to climb stairs to the 2nd floor where our room was. The gym and pool are located away from the property, not ideal but I didn't mind it.

Location cleanliness and staff at this facility was great. It’s a shame the restaurant wasn’t up to the same standard Restaurant staff were untrained, which wasn’t not their fault. They tried their best. Plus bad communication. The bar staff were much better trained and helpful
