Hilton Heidelberg

All services were grand and we didn't want for anything more.

I tend to shy away from big American hotel chains when I'm in the EU, preferring to stay at smaller European hotels for their atmosphere, but after our stay at this Hilton, I will be reconsidering. This hotel was great, from the wonderful breakfast to the comfortable bed and HVAC that just worked. Maybe I'm getting older, but I'm now prioritizing comfort and familiarity over novelty and having to learn how they do it "over there". At least when it applies to hotels. Other than the location that took some effort to get to from the train station, the hotel was great once we arrived. There was construction next door but it never bothered us. Thankfully, I can't think of anything else.

Loved the proximity to the Altstadt and the river. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic! On site parking a plus. The only small complaint I have is the showers. They have only a half door and so water gets on the floor.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful cafe and restaurant in the lobby. Friendly staff, basic but nice room that was very clean, quiet and comfy. Also, perfectly walkable to most everything in Heidelberg. Zero complaints!

We had a wonderful stay at the Heidelberg Hilton. The facility was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The only downside was the unexpected hidden fees that were not clearly communicated when booking. While the overall experience was enjoyable, greater transparency about additional charges would have made the stay even better.

The hotel is very close to the old town and also quite close to the main station. So commuting was quite easy. There were quite a few restaurants nearby. The room was nice, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Over all we enjoyed our stay. The beds are a bit too soft. Nothing.

It was everything I expected from a Hilton property. The staff was friendly. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. I always know what I am getting from Hilton. A nice room and good service in a convenient location. This one was no exception. No negatives that I can think of.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Heidelberg, made truly exceptional thanks to Daniela Telle. Due to a flight cancellation, our stay in Heidelberg was unexpectedly shortened and stressful. From the moment we arrived, Daniela went above and beyond to help us. She kindly arranged a room upgrade and did everything possible to make our short stay comfortable, smooth, and memorable. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care completely changed our experience. Instead of focusing on the inconvenience of the cancelled flight, we were able to relax and enjoy our time at the hotel. This level of service truly reflects the highest standards of Hilton hospitality. Thank you, Daniela, for turning a difficult situation into a great experience. Location near the historical sights and areas. Very nice staff. Some rooms are on the interior courtyard/atrium which was quiet but dark. Preferred the exterior view room that the staff kindly offered.
