Cafe and restaurants near by The room was ok but bathroom was not cleaned well

The beds were comfortable. The bathroom sink was held up by duct tape, the hotel was dirty overall with stained carpets and dirty walls, the canvas paintings were ripped or there was no attention to detail and there were not enough linens for the room. Also at check in there was no direction as to which room was intended for the 3 guest versus the 2 guest.

The location is close to the Schanzeviertel with a bus stop close by. The walk to the UBahn is about 10 minutes, on Stresemannstraße. The property itself was clean. Staff at front desk friendly. Parking on site was nice to have, but tight with stacking spaces. Once parked we didn’t move it. Also liked that there was a small market next door. Restaurant at the hotel looked nice, but expensive. We ate at Cafe Stenzel a block away which has great cakes and tortes. There is no a/c in the rooms. Our room felt like a sauna, which considering the extreme heat Germany there was no way to cool the room even at night. A fan at least would have been helpful. The small fridge also did not work, so no way to chill beverages.

The location is awful. On arrival l checked in and the reception seemed non plus. Went to my room found the curtains hanging off the runner. Decided to make a cuppa and found a smelly blue cloth inside the kettle and the bed played a tune ever time you moved with the springs hitting you in the back. The fuin the room come from the 1970 and it shows. The lovely chipboard wall papper all damaged was a delightful.

Location was great The entrance to the parking lot could only be found after receiving direction from hotel staff.

Comfortable bed, good location, big room. Good value for price. I think the hotel is under new management and the new staff need some work in learning how guest services work. No one was unfriendly or rude, but the quality of service was not equivalent to my last visit.

+ The reception was working untill late, we arrived around 22 pm and everything was alright + Our room was really big, it was enough space for both of us and our dog + Nobody asked about dog`s size, it can be very annoying in other hotels when they say - your dog is too big and we accept only 1 kg dogs. Did'nt find, we stayed only for 1 night
