The location is near a very active part of town, so there are many restaurants and breakfast places. The saint Georg area is also very fabulous.? The pictures on the website made it look like we would have water-front view, there may be some rooms that have water-front view… but they are minimal, and most buildings are obstructed by another building.

There was a nice dog bed There was mold in the windows. That is unacceptable. My wife has asthma.

location breakfast not included

Unfortunately, some facilities did not meet expectations. The Wi-Fi on the 4th floor was not working, the soap dispenser was not functional, and the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There was also no minibar or refrigerator, no kettle, and no complimentary water upon arrival.

Great location near the heart of St Georg, but very quiet. Really nice breakfast buffet, and very friendly staff. Overall, if you book early it's great value for money. Nothing really - some parts of the decor are maybe getting a bit old-fashioned, but I'm only saying this cause they tell me to write something in this box. Stay in this hotel!

The offer price was good and the surrounding area is not so bad. Parking was full.

Super central Location loved it I asked for a room with view of Alster and I got #40 on top floor - huge room with double bed (I had booked single) The decoration and huge paintings with old elevator and carpet looked beautiful Proximity to many restaurants and healthy cafes / places Walking distance to station My room was next to the elevator and that was disturbing - but I slept with earplugs The hair dryer already left best years behind …i definitely suggest changing it Something that would make me feel more valued as a guest would be to write name/date check in, out on my guest card. Please communicate check out time either on the guest card or in the room

Good location. Easy to get the bus, very close to the restaurants. The parking spaces in the underground garage were very narrow, and the elevator was quite shabby. The carpet in the hallway looked a bit old. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, and water actually leaked out. There was no hairdryer in the room, so I didn’t dare wash my hair at night. The curtains didn’t block out the light well, and the toilet didn’t flush properly.

The staff was super helpful, both on the night and day shifts. The curtains did not properly cover the entire window.
-
The only downside was that we didn't find a good breakfast place close by.

I can't say i slept with pillow.. Very small bed, couldn't sleep well..

It is a very beautiful hotel located next to the Alster Lake with an elegant and old-fashioned vibe. The lobby is beautiful and luxurious with classic design and charm. Our room was a bit old-fashioned but perfectly clean and it had all of the amenities we needed. We really appreciated that there was an EV charger in the underground parking garage. The hotel is within walking distance of the central station and also right next to the street Lange Reihe, a hotspot for restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Our room was facing the courtyard and was very quiet.

Clean and comfortable, in an excellent location with friendly and helpful staff The building is looking a little tired around the edges, but efforts have clearly been made to upgrade design internally.

A really nice location right next to the Alster, so you’re directly on the water and can go enjoy your morning coffee or jog right by the water. Close to the city centre but you have to walk through a few not-so-nice locations to get there during the night if there is no transportation. The hotel itself is in a nice area, though. Also very clean and the staff are very friendly. The single rooms are in a separate building (the hotel has a few different building that are either connected by a corridor or through the inner courtyard), which is absolutely okay but they are extremely dark interiorwise and there are not enough light sources in the rooms. So if you plan to do some reading/research on a physical media, you can basically forget it. Also no minifridge.
