Breakfast could be better. Host offered to make eggs which was nice.

There were no staff present to rate! Emails and a phone call were very pleasant, though.

Altho there is no AC in 33C heat, the spacious rooms are cool and the hillside breeze through the large windows refreshing. The stay was immaculate. Breakfast was fresh and fulfilling. Historical aspects of the schloss were everywhere evident and inspire curiosity.

We are absolutely delighted with our accommodation. The castle feels like something out of a fairy tale—everything is immaculately clean, and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The view from the castle is unbelievably beautiful. Communication with the hosts was excellent; they were very accommodating and friendly. The entire area has a magical atmosphere. There are a few local restaurants nearby serving phenomenal food. This is definitely one of those places we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

I absolutely adored this hotel! It was a very central location amongst the vineyards, and in my opinion, the best location in the town. The property was beautiful, and the rooms were large and spacious. The breakfast was basic, but delicious, and our own personal breakfast table was all set up for us when we arrived in the breakfast room. The owner/manager onsite was very kind and helpful. I would love to have the opportunity to stay here again! Nothing!

We were celebrating an important anniversary, and asked for a good room with a view. We could not have been happier with the room, the care and attention, the speed of communication, and the perfect location right beside extensive vineyards. The breakfast buffet was very good too. There was even a shared kitchen with well-stocked fridge working on the honour system. All this without mentioning the beautiful Schloss with its stunning history, and the lovely nearby town of Gumpoldskirchen with its heurigens. We liked everything - and we are quite fussy.

We actually did not stay at this place as a few hours before check-in I received a message that due to "unforeseen circumstances" we should go to another hotel 400 m away. Ok, but it was not the hotel I had chosen. I had not checked my email and I learned this after arriving at their premises. They should have chosen a better place to accommodate us. It was a very simple hotel with bad breakfast and tiny bathroom. Very unprofessional attitude! Such a thing has never happened to me in Europe. I bet it was no misunderstanding, they had been booked by a large group at the last minute and they decide to throw us and another couple away. Thank you very much! I did not go to this village to sleep in a tasgeless hotel.

It was amazing. I am staying for the second time and enjoying it a lot. Everyone is super friendly. Rooms are big, comfy and clean. The castle is magnificent
