Huge room gym maybe my suggestion

The hotel is in a modern office building, everything is or seems new. The staff were nice and gave us a room with an amazing view over the city. Bathroom is a bit strangely composed (you walk through the toilet room to get in the shower). The lighting system is not very easy to understand and operate.

The hotel is in nice Tianhe district, modern very clean area, near a nice park, big shopping mall with a lot of eateries, lot of good restaurants around. Easy access to another areas by taxi. Very helpfull and nice staff at reception, housekeeping is super to clean and set up your room. Super breakfast. Will stay there again!

Very comfortable hotel, good buffet breakfast, clean, good helpful staff. Location very convenient, walkable, close to metro, shopping malls and many dining options. Good sized room, comfortable beds, clean. Highly recommend. A bit noisy some nights, as some works been carried out down the road. Otherwise, all good.

Unfortunately, there was always a very bad smell in the lobby, and at night it was extremely noisy — it was impossible to get any rest.

And they didn’t Make up the room properly for 3 days I asked them twice to do it but no body came

I hv been travelling and staying in all kinds of hotel from the expensive to the cheap one. Never have I ever encountered the strange lighting design of Maxx. Firstly the wordings on the switches are so faint and tiny. A person with long sighted won’t able to tell what switch is for what. The naming are strange too for a tale to tell. Up rim ceiling light is called “appreciation.” Light for the kettle table is called “working.” I believed many have the same practice to turn on a small corridor or toilet light during sleep so to find its way to the toilet. Some would like to hv a little lights on in unfamiliar place for a peace of mind. Unfortunately you just can’t hv it the way you want. The toilet or corridor lights are linked to some other lights inside the bedroom. So you can’t just darken the bedroom. Then there is a switch named “sleeping.” Pressing this will override all and will leave you in total darkness. There seems no way to have a tiny light on. It took me substantial time trying to figure it out but to no avail. Apart from the light fiasco, the breakfast has a wide variety, the staff is polite and helpful. They help me to register for a free visit to the museum which I didn’t know must booked in advance. So kudos to the staff but thumbs down for the lighting design. It’s actually a no brainer but the way the lights designed made me having an unpleasant sleep. For this I hv to rate it as poor because they can’t even design a proper light system.

The hotel room is very comfortable and spacious. Location is about 7 minutes walk to Zhujiang Xincheng MRT station. The hotel is close to eateries and malls. Overall it was a very pleasant stay! Nothing that I dislike. The hotel is not located on the ground floor. Its main lobby is on the 5th floor of a building. So the hotel presence might not be obvious when you are searching for it the first time. But it is not a big issue.

Facility was amazing but the staff was more focused on domestic guests as they know veey little english Language barrier between the staff and the entrance of the hotel was not shared properly as the reception was in the 5th floor of the building.
