Location is great, good breakfast. - the hotel could be more flexible for earlier checkin. After booking i sent a requesrt for early checkin - but the reply was very prompt "No", meaning it was not even checked. After a long international flight (11.5 hrs, long queue in passport control and long drive from the airport ) what you need is a shower and relax. in many hotels there are such facilities. it means the hotel is built more for local than for foreigners. in addition; the staff ardly speak english, the TV havs no english channel. i plan to be in Guangzhou many times - but will avoid the hotel

Location gr8 to visit the Canton fair. Also lot of dining options nearby. Eric from Concierge was very helpful and it truly a Gem the hotel has. Airconditioning was sketchy in spite of setting the temp it used to go up and down, also the bathroom amenities are not of 5 star standard and should be improved

Location is very good. The view is fantastic showing the canton tower day & night view wonderful really. Restaurant is just around the corner. Convient stores also… next to igc mall…. During the night you can just have a walk down the hotel and coffee shops is everywhere too… kudos to the staff they don’t speak good English. But they are doing 100% effort to answer all your needs , questions & inquiry. They are very accommodating. So far no all is well…

Excellent service and beautiful view. The rooms, gym, and building were modern and clean. There is a bank nearby for cash withdrawals. Note that the check in desk is on the 28th floor. The location is a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.

Great staff, Disco the concierge went above and beyond to help us and gave us a great recommonedation on where to eat and where to get a therapeutic massage. It was a perfect stay

they spoke very little English and did not explain the procedure at all way to expansive for what you received not even one English channel on the tv

Location The room had a pungent smell of cigarettes, although I booked a non-smoking room. I found a half-smoked cigar and ash in the wine cooler. The staff simply took a photo and said they would fix it. No one at the front desk or in the lobby speaks English.

Another downside was the poor Wi-Fi quality, which made it hard to stay connected or get things done online. For travelers who rely on internet access, this could be frustrating. Overall, the hotel has kind and hospitable staff, but improving English communication support and Wi-Fi would significantly enhance the experience for international guests. Would I stay here again? Maybe—with the expectation that I’d need a translation app and make food arrangements differently!

WiFi didn’t work, room safe didn’t work, little to none English spoken or understood, no English TV channels, cold cooked food at breakfast, poorly trained staff, bar staff virtually none existent. Avoid this hotel. like the plague

We had a room overseeing the river and the canton tower. Beautiful view! The hotel is a perfect place for get away as it offered complementary hi tea from 11 am to 6 pm and supper from 11pm to 2am. There is a great spread of food at Breakfast and many restaurants/food outlets at the TienDa Plaza which is just next to the hotel. We Love this place and wished we had stayed longer. There is no dedicated concierge staff to help visitors like us to navigate around the city. The front desk staff merely rely on social media to search and provide advice when needed.
