Solway Lodge Hotel

Annexe room was adequate for our one-night stay, clean and comfortable. No view though. Great evening meal despite lots of kids running around (suggest eating later to avoid). Breakfast was fantastic with great choices and served to table rather than buffet style. Shortage of staff meant long waits at the bar to get a drink especially with bar staff also acting as Hotel Reception and dealing with customer queries. Needed at least two more for the number of people in the busy wedding function room and dining/lounge areas.

The hotel was convenient in area Clean Reasonable price Receptionist was friendly Bar staff when arrived were a little sharp in nature and not really welcoming 2 customers walked out for some reason. Not attentive Breakfast had bruised fruit and not a great selection of hot food

Excellent location with very friendly efficient staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to order. Evening Food is ok Plenty of options, hot and good portion sizes but could be better.

The day staff was lovely, lunch was good ,room was beautiful, breakfast was good. We where celebrating our anniversary with family our table was lovely but the service was poor ,we asked for more drinks halfway through our meal and was told to go to the bar and order them but other people got drinks served at their table ,table was not cleaned up after each corse , went and seen another waitress she did apologised and cleaned the table and served us drinks, poor service

Hotel has a wonderful location for visiting the Outlet. This is our second visit to the hotel and will most certainly be back. Great choice of menu for both breakfast which is included in price and evening meal which is well priced.

Room was lovely and fantastic breakfast, there was a wedding function on that day so a little loud but never complain about people having fun Serving food later 8pm cut off

The Breakfast was nice, it was convenient for our party at a nearby hotel Rooms were outside hotel, i much prefer to be in the main hotel, but wernt made aware of this beforehand. Pillows on bed were hard and flat, mirror light didn't work in bathroom. Window and frame was dirty. Furniture was tatty and shabby in room. Walls were thin and you could clearly hear every word from residents in adjacent room. Not very private.

The staff were brilliant and the food was such good value for money. Our room was very clean We have stayed here many times before and everything was excellent, this time was very different, we were staying in room 18 and it was right above the extractor fan for the kitchen which had a buzzing noise so it disturbed our sleep. The second night there was a reception party and the extractor fan

Returning once again as always staff and food excellent The location to the centre is very good

Location The picture is deceiving. Looks like a beautiful building but did not stay in this building. There was a row of units at the back that we were in. It was clean and beds comfortable but if you think you might stay in guest house, think again!
